DraftKings locked $700 of mine in my account. I wish to withdraw it, but they locked my account. I have done nothing wrong in the process and have been very patient and communicative with them. On March 6th, 2025 I deposited funds into my DraftKings account using payment methods in my name. After my winnings totaled up to $11,000, DraftKings banned my account while withholding my funds. After multiple attempts of trying to get an explanation why, their customer service team refuses to explain their reasoning for banning me. This is unacceptable & theft.Business Response

Hi my complaint is with DraftKings . I signed up for an account was approved and placed my first couple of bets a few hours later my account was temporarily locked but I could see where one of my bets won in the amount of ******* dollars and I was not able to withdraw my funds . I contacted customer service several times via email and they kept having me take a pic with my dl and bank account statements over and over just for the end result to be they locked my account for good and I cant get my winnings out . I made a bet on a 5 leg parlay which had a 50% profit boost for 4 legs and above. Draftkings voided 2 legs and cancelled the boost because it now only had 3 legs. I wanted the bet cancelled but all the gave me was a runaround and saying the bet stands by pointing at their so called rules. This is unethical. Doing what they did changed the bet into something I would not have paid for or bet on. Do they need a lousy $5 that bad that they have to cheat me?Business Response

Draftkings locked me out of my account with $395.25 in it and didn't tell me why. They wanted me to upload a photo of myself with my id, which I did, they then asked me to provide a statement for a debit account thats in my brother's name & stated that I would have to provide a statement for that account with my own name on it, which is impossible so now they're not giving me my money back and not telling me which term I violated. Their terms and conditions doesn't state payment methods have to be in your name so I wasn't aware that this would happen. I don't care to use the app anymore but I need the money back if I'm not able to use it on the app.Business Response

February 28th I was playing one of the online slot games Crazy Coin Flip. This game is one where you have to keep spinning to get qualified for a bonus. My wager amount was 5 dollars with a 2x bonus game. Despite me wagering 5 dollars and the 2x game with a 116 win which 2x would make is 232 my wager amount was changed to 1 dollar. Makes 0 sense right I am betting 5 dollars and magically amount changes to 1 dollar. Well instead of being paid ***** dollars I received 232 dollars and immediately I tried reaching chat support. No help there because mysteriously that specific bet was not found in my recent ****** how I dont know that is 1 red flag. I emailed support asking for help support is a joke 0 response if they do respond they ask for the same information youve already sent. I decided to take it a step further and screen record exactly what happened. What do you know it happened again I sent the screen recording and time stamp of my transaction number and wager amount and payout amount theyre responded with asking for the same information I had just provided. This happen 2/28 it is 3/6 I still have 0 response from them. Their game is literally robbing people in plain sight and they are not willing to make it right or do anything about it. Currently Draft kings owes me ***** dollars and they are not even responding. I have multiple screenshots and recordings of this happening and yet nothing.Business Response

Hi, My Name is ****** ******, here recently I logged back i to my DraftKings Account & because I had to Change Phones last year, about 6-7 months ago, I lost access to my original Email Account ************************** because I changed phone companies from Cricket to *******, changed phone #s & couldnt remember my password. My new Email is *************************** So I had to change my account ******** was aiming to bet $2,700 on UFC 313 **** ******* vs Magomed Ankalev. Started to load money onto my account & next thing you know my account has been locked, Ive been emailing ************ for two days, running ************ to my ************* Uploading PDF after PDF, sensing pictures of ******* Drivers License, sending pics of me holding my drivers licenses. This is becoming too much, *** literally 100% proved its me for Two days straight, dates, addresse & name from my bank account, literally provided documentation after documentation with facts that it is me ****** ******. I have $1,500 dollars & 40c on my account that I cannot touch, to me thats not just some little bit of money, please help me out please. This has done gotten very irritating & stressful at this point. Ive stayed patient & completely compliment but now its becoming too much. Desired settlement, my account open & back active for me. I deposited about 2.3K this morning to hold, not knowing if I would ****** some of it or hold it. When I try to withdraw, they say that it needs to be reviewed, which takes 3-5 mins to deposit. 15 mins go by and nothing. So I shoot a message to the help center and they ignore me first and give me baseless useless info. So I get mad because its 2.3 K, thats my entire tax return. I text back and now theyve locked my account, taken my money, wont respond back, and left me on delivered. This is the worst experience Ive ever had. Its hard not to be animated. Im a working 23 year old kid. I work hard for my money. Im inbetween jobs and need that. I dont want to get animated, but the book is a disgrace. Slow service which Ive put up with.
