I purchased 2 tickets for ******** on Thursday, March 2. The seats were MEZRGT, Row A, Seat 30 & 32. They were not reseller seats, but more importantly they were not listed as obstructed view seats. When we got there, we found our seats were two temporary stackable chairs pushed up into a cubby the front of the actual mezzanine, with the seat numbers indicated by a LabelMaker sticker. We were told these were our seats. The seats were lower than any other mezzanine seat, which means our view was obstructed by the safety rail that runs along the length of the Dress Circle seats. Ultimately, this means that I purchased 2 tickets that were not represented as obstructed view seats, and I yet I had a thick horizontal railing bar obstructing my view of the stage. I spent the night craning my neck to see over the bar, or crouching down to look under the bar so that I could see what was happening on stage. I feel confident that this constitutes an obstructed view seat, and was not represented as such. To me, this is consumer fraud.Further, there were two seats in front of us on the other side of the pathway that were used by someone else, and I'm pretty sure those are actually Row A seat 30 & 32. When I asked about this, I dealt with a very rude ***** who told me those were wheelchair accessible seats, and refused to tell me what seat numbers they were. Looking at the seating chart for the Opera House, there is no other seat in the mezzanine in front of seats Row A seat 30 & 32. In addition, when I look at the seats Row A seat 30 & 32 for other events, those seats are listed as wheelchair accessible seats. So I believe the seats we were given were not actually the seats Row A seat 30 & 32. Rather, those seats were given to someone else, and we were instead given temporary seats with an obstructed view.I would like a refund for my seats, as I believe they were not the seats I booked.

    Customer response

I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. I think it's too bad that the ************** Opera House is this uninterested in providing a satisfactory customer experience, or in following up should they fall short of providing that experience.
