I bought a led ************* wand that the sales person said it was NEAR INFRARED light. I asked twice is he sure and he said yes. I bought this device and opened it. The pamphlet said 625 nm which is NOT near infrared lights. Infrared light is not effective unless greater than 800nm. He said it is a misprint. Online the item says it is ****** I spent 3700. The whole thing reeks of deception. I was informed incorrectly and they are refusing to refund my money. I never even used it and they wont refund me. Chapter 93A is supposed to protect you against these people. This company has 33 complaints since 2017.

Initially I have heard back from the owner but he refuses to refund me my money.  This company has also been in trouble with the ************************************** in the past.  His deceitful unfair marketing practices should not be allowed.  I was told the product was what I wanted only to find out it wasnt and then they would not refund

      whom who may concern
On December 5th, 2024 The card holder came to our store Beauty & Science at **********************************************************, and was introduced to our line of products. The customer made a purchase of 1 item and a complimentary facial at the price of $3718.75 total including the tax customer paid the amount with a MasterCard ending in 4117.
The purchase was in a very relaxing atmosphere and non pressure was applied towards the customer to make the purchase. The customer decided on their own free will to purchase as the customer was asking multiple questions in regards to how they need to use it and in regards to the way the product works .
the representative verbally explained that to the customer.
The representative and customer went through the product and packaging of the product before it was placed in the customers bag making sure that the product is in a perfectly good condition.
The customer was well aware of our return policy that was mentioned to them both verbally and by a sign over the cash register and at the bottom of the credit card receipt and sale receipt which the customer signed and was given each of. The customer also signed our letter of commitment acknowledging it was a final sale.
Further up  the client was aware of the amount of the sale and the return policy
The client had the option to Exchange the products within ******************************************************************************************************************** their possession.
The company is more than willing to make sure the customer has complete satisfaction from the product however we have to stay loyal to our policy and customers since we can't resell those products once they leave our site and cannot take responsibility for the way they were stored/opened/used.
Our infrared LED ************* devices are *** approved infrared lights that meet the requirements of infrared device. I have attached supporting documents. The customer had an option to look into and research the product before purchasing it we did let her know she can think about it and do more research if she wanted but she did decide on her own free will to purchase that same time as she was very excited
We have tried to resolve the issue with the customer by providing them and even better device at no extra cost that clearly states the infrared has 880 nanometers on the packaging but the customer declined this option.

there was enormous pressure to purchase this item. They would not allow me to go and purchase the item unless I paid for a cream to reduce wrinkles. Then they would bring me to the store to show me the wand. Never did they open up the package to show me what was inside that is a complete lie. It was not until I got home that I opened it up myself and read that it was only 625 nm I was never told of the return policy. That is another lie. If you look online and look up these people you will see that everyone says they were not told of the return policy. All I was told that I was not allowed to resell it on **** or something like that that is the only thing when I signed the iPad there was nothing written on the iPad just a blank line for me to sign for the credit card. I emailed the manufacture of the wand. The company is called empire I attach the letter to this complaint it even says that its only 625 nm just like the pamphlet inside the box that was not opened at the store said I was told 2 to 3 times actually I probably would think it was more three that this was 800 nm or more and it was near infrared which is over 800. I asked specifically is it near infrared and they said yes that letter from the manufacturer says at 6:25 which is not near infrared its only red light.  Massachusetts law I showed you 93 a says that it protects consumers against deceptive practices. I would like you to look up reviews on this company. They are not only called beauty and science, but they are also called forever flawless there sales tactics are beyond unethical.  They pulled a fast one on me and a lot of people. I hope youll find that this man is not telling you the truth. He did not open the box while I was there. I only opened the box when I got home. He did not tell me anything about a return policy. I tried to return it. I did not use it. This man is a ***** if you also look at another attachment, it was in the Salem evening news. They scammed an older lady at 1000s of dollars which, of course he had an excuse for, but if you notice at the end of that article which I added here, the attorney general said to contact your credit card company And report this company if you have issues with them and that is exactly what I am doing
I am trying to upload the email that I got from Empire saying that its only 625 nm and Im also trying to upload the Salem news article that says that the Attorney General is recommended that you contact your credit card as soon as possible if there is any issues with this company and its not letting me upload. If someone can call me and give me an email address I can send you a lot of information regarding this matter, but it wont let me upload now or call me at ************. I am so angry right now because just reading what he wrote he is a liar a con artist and Massachusetts law 93A is supposed to protect people from people like him.

I said ok because now Im feeling pressured. She goes through the whole talk about the product and then tells me 400 which I said no I not buying that. Then she says how about 200. Still said no then she says ok Ill do 100 and this will be free. Then I kept saying no and she wouldnt let me leave. I ended up buying this stupid cream JUST SO I CAN LEAVE THE STORE. now Im stuck with 100 dollar cream I will never use. Im so aggravated and I kept telling her I did not want to buy it at all. I want a REFUND. I cant get in contact with customer service. Their emails dont work. And the store DOES NOT ACCEPT REFUNDS. I am a 72 year old widow on Social Security who got taken advantage of by 2 salespeople at Beauty Science North store. I got a free sample and showed me how to get rid of under eye dark circles that were bothering me. I told him I couldnt afford it, but he talked me into buying a $300 cream, then sent me to lady about my wrinkles, a device EMP 24K PRO that was $1200. I sat there crying trying to explain that I couldnt afford it, how depressed I was about the deaths in my life (my husband, my mother and best friend), that I needed to sell my house which was too much for me to afford. She just kept going on and on how much better Id feel, look and that my deceased ones and God would want that for me! I tried to think of a reason to get out of there and said I needed to go home and get my credit card and she talked me into putting down a deposit of $400. I went home and wasnt going to go back, but then I was thinking I was throwing away $400. So stupid me went back and bought the low (not really, but according to her!) Then all of a sudden she said shed check my medical Insurance to see if it would cover any of it. She checked and was so excited that my insurance would cover a big chunk if I could get the best version and how much more it would do at not much more! Now all of a sudden I was brainwashed and made another charge, which is why I have 4 separate charge slips. I didnt even realize It was almost a total of almost $4000 worth of stuff until I received my credit card bill and I've been sick about it ever since. I also didnt realize that 2 slips have one store name on them in Danvers and 2 slips have another store name in Peabody, which doesnt make sense to me!When I went home, I found it on line for A LOT LESS! I went back and was told THERE WERE NO REFUNDS! I DONT KNOW WHY I DIDNT REALIZE THAT! I guess Im not a very smart Senior Citizen! And now I'm stuck with this stupid and really expensive item that doesnt even work!Sent from my iPhone

I am a 74 years VA widow, senior citizens. I have been a victim of dishonest practice by merchant name BNM Corp IIc DBA Forever Flawless, in the ***************** Mall Brainthree, MA. Because of their high pressure sales pitch and ensured completely satisfaction I agreed in good faith to buy a Blue Light facial care device for $2,350.00. I signed the Letter of Commitment in good faith because they guaranteed the result of the product on 7/13/2021.Due to the Covid-19 I never opened the Blue Light facial device, since I was offered 12 free facial with the purchase. After a few weeks of treatment in their shop I saw no improvements. I complained to ********, she spoke of a New Red Facial Device with heat, ******* the manager. suggested that I should try it & agreed with her; he said that the Blue Light Facial Device was not appropriate for my skin type; I am a black Spanish-******** female. While I was still on the massage bed he caught me off guard, he immediately wrote up the contract for the Red Facial device and came over to me to sign. I stated I couldnt afford the two payment I must bring back the Blue Facial Device for a credit reversal to my credit card since the box was never opened. We agreed I would return the facial device the next day to the store! I couldnt afford the two purchases, Reluctantly, under soft pressure I signed, I stressed to him I could not afford the two payments. He reassured me he would fix the situation. I trusted these people. I next day I brought the unused blue device gave to *******, who was acting as manager. I asked him for the credit receipt he said that he had to talked to someone else to get the approval. (he since been fired) I have been disputing these charges for over a year, to be reverse to my credit card with no positive results. Manager Ms. ******** called that she would settle for$500.00 I couldn't accept; Manager ****** text me 9/26/22 he would call me & try to solve this issue. Up to this date still remains unresolved?

On December 24th, Christmas Eve, at Forever Flawless at the *************** in ******* **, I was pressured and badgered into buying a light machine for the face even after repeatedly saying I didn't want to purchase it. I was under the impression that I could return it, but when I later looked at the receipt that they had hidden in an envelope in my bag, it said "no returns". However I tried to return it on Thursday the 29th because I had not opened or used anything. They would not take it back and were extremely hostile and rude even in front of my two young boys, saying, "it's not like we had a gun to your head!" I paid $2,656.25 and I am afraid to go back there because of how I was treated, but I would like to return it and get a full refund.I have notified my credit card company and they are trying to help me dispute the charge, but so far no resolution. So I wanted to let you know in hopes that maybe you can help me. I also want to warn other potential victims of this establishment.

Beware! Scam! I went into Forever Flawless on October 30. After extremely high pressure ******** finally bought the kit they were trying to sell me. I signed for my credit card but signed nothing else. When I went in to ask to return the item, they opened a book with a paper saying I understood that items weren't returnable. No! I'm fairly certain that they lifted my signature from signing for the credit card. The products made my skin break out. Who wants to keep this kind of product? And what company of any kind of reputation wouldn't accept returns?I finally told them that I was leaving the products with them and would contact my credit card company. I'm surprised that there isn't a class action suit against them.
