  I entered into what I was told was a financing agreement for business equipment through TimePayment Corp. The equipment cost was approximately $7,372.50, and I was quoted 36 monthly payments of $391.10, with a one-time documentation fee of $125 and ownership at the end of the term.Since then, Ive been paying $545/month consistently for over a year totaling over $6,500 and was recently told that I still owe more than $8,000. This amount far exceeds the value of the equipment and was never disclosed up front.I later discovered this was a noncancelable lease, not a financing agreement, and the terms are extremely confusing and misleading. The contract:Offers no path to ownership, despite what I was told Charges a "one-time fee" of $125 repeatedly, monthly Provides no benefit for early payoff Does not reflect the structure or cost that was originally presented to me When I raised these issues, I was given no resolution. The contract was never explained thoroughly, and I now find myself locked into a 3-year obligation that is predatory and exploitative in nature.

  I signed what I believed to be a financing agreement for a piece of equipment, only to later discover it was a non-cancellable lease disguised as financing. The total cost is more than double the actual value of the equipment, and even after paying all the installments, I still have to pay extra if I want to keep ***** no point was it clearly explained that this was a lease or that I would never own the equipment unless I paid more at the end. This lack of transparency is unacceptable and borders on fraud.I do not recommend this company. If you're considering using them for "financing," read the fine print or better yet, look for a more ethical alternative.

  I am extremely disappointed with this businesss handling of my final payment. Despite providing clear banking proof that the balance was paid in full, Ive been subjected to ongoing and unwarranted harassment regarding a bill that has already been settled.I expected a higher level of professionalism and accountability, especially after doing my part and fulfilling all financial obligations. Instead, Ive had to spend time and energy defending a fully paid accountsomething no customer should have to endure.This experience has severely undermined my trust in the company. I strongly urge others to exercise caution when doing business here, especially regarding financial matters and follow-through.

  Please stay away from this finance company. Their terms and conditions are dishonest and are not upfront with cancelation policies. I purchased equipment from Stateside Equipment sales in *********** (also stay away from this company) back on 3/9/24. When I purchased the equipment ******* the sales *** told me the project would take around 30 days to complete. I followed up with him at the 30 day **** since I had not heard from them. He explained to me that the equipment hasn't even arrived yet. I told him I would like to cancel the order and after a few months of back and forth ****** the manager agreed to cancel the order and return funds to time payment. So after months and months of harassment from ******** ******* we spoke again today updating her on the situation with Stateside and that we are going to civil court ******** begins to lecture me and yelling at me over the phone. She started by continuously interrupting me as I am attempting to explain to her that I am in legal action towards the company and will soon get the payment over to Time Payment. She starts yelling over me multiple times. I asked her several times to let me speak and I will not be engaging in a yelling match with her. She then states " pay your bill and hangs up". The lack of professionalism with ******** is unacceptable no matter what the circumstances are. A professional during working hours shouldn't call someone and yell at them over the phone. Coming from an ER Nurse this is highly unprofessional and unacceptable for a grown woman yelling at people over the phone.

  I have NEVER EVER left a one star review. Here's my story. Started a financial planning business and used Spectrum for Internet. On a ****** search I stumbled on Spectrum VOIP which is a completely different company but was assured "they were Spectrum." I was told that I was doing a monthly contract with them and could cancel at any time. At some point along the way they sold the leasing contract to Timepayment. Again, my fault for not reading every word. Now, as a business owner, I am all about making a profit and doing good work but what's happening here to little people is that they are being taken advantage of the likes of which I have never seen or experienced. When I called the customer service person today, I kindly explained that I have already payed over $1500 to rent phones that can be purchased for $50-$100 online. When I asked the pointed question, "you mean to tell me that I owe $4200 for phones that I have already paid $1500 for and that are worth $200-300? She said yes, you signed a contract." Look around and read all the one star reviews from real people that got hammered by this gluttonous company. And I'm sure there will be a vague response from them about calling to "resolve" the issue. STAY AWAY STAY AWAY STAY AWAY.

  I WISH I HAD SEEN THESE REVIEWS BEFORE I USED THIS COMPANY NO TRANSPARENCY THEY LIE TO YOUR FACE ABOUT FINANCING YOUR EQUIPMENT AND THEN CHANGE THE AGREEMENT FROM FINANCING TO A LEASE TERRIBLE AND BBB SHOULD DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS COMPANY UNFORTUNATELY THEY ARE SUPER MANIPULATIVE AND THEY HAVE DEVELOPED LOOPHOLES THAT GIVE THEM LEVERAGE. SO I AM UNABLE TO LEGALLY DO ANYTHING BUT PAY AN ENORMOUS PAYOFF FOR THE EQUIPMENT. I THOUGHT I FINANCED.

  Only borrowed a certain amount of money to pay a vendor and now theyre saying we will be paying double the price of the equipment. Do not ever use this company!!

  Got the payoff from the company on my account. I paid it. Then 4 months later, They do want to return equipment or buy out the lease. Now I have to pay a ****** or ship the equipment back. After I have more than the price of the equipment. Funny how its a loan then a lease then a loan and right back to lease. I will never use this company again!!!! I would give it no stars if it was a opinion.
