I took down my previous review but now I must put it back up. Thriveworks is now charging my mother 40$ per month for at least the last 2 months AFTER they said they would not charge her for their failure to provide a nurse practitioner. She was assured TWICE she would not be charged because the appointments they set up never actually happened as the practitioners did not join the telehealth consult on two occasions and she was provided an incorrect link to the meeting for one of the of the sessions. So, the Better Business Bureau, the Attorney General for the ********************, and the ************************************ have been apprised of the criminal charging of her bank account and have promised to seek punitive actions. Oh, and we've retained an attorney to ensure they receive the maximum penalty for charging fraudulent charges after she was told by Thriveworks she would not be since it was entirely their fault! You will be defrauded by this scam; should you require counseling, you really must look elsewhere.

I officially canceled my subscription to Thriveworks on 9/27 via phone call to Thriveworks and email to Thriveworks counselor. I was then charged $15 on 10/12 which I disputed with Thriveworks via phone call on 10/12. I was told that someone would call me after looking into this claim. No one called me to follow-up. I was then charged $200 on 10/19. I called Thriveworks again on 10/20 to dispute this claim. I was told again that someone will call me about this. I asked for my **** information to be removed from the Thriveworks system and they told me they would not do that. I have disputed these transactions with my bank. I have been told that the $15 claim has been resolved. I hope the $200 charge will either be rejected by my bank or refunded by Thriveworks. This apparently is a recurring issue with Thriveworks and has been reported by numerous people.

      Customer response

      11/02/2021

I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. My bank has credited my account the amount in question and is waiting to hear back from the merchant. I have not received any phone calls from the merchant despite them saying claims/customer service would call me back immediately.

Some consumers may elect to not publish the details of their complaints, some complaints may not meet BBB's standards for publication, or BBB may display a portion of complaints when a high volume is received for a particular business.
