One of the worst experiences I have had. Part of one of my fillings came out, no pain or issues with the tooth. 2 weeks to have it re-done and after it was, I had discomfort for the next week, which I thought was normal and healing, I ended up waking up on the 4th in excruciating pain. Called and left 2 messages, no call back, called the following morning and left another message. Called my nurse hotline and was told to see a doctor within the next 4 hours. I immediately went to the emergency room. While waiting in the waiting room, the dentist finally calls me back and says to leave and he can see me at noon. He drilled a hole, put medicine in and a tiny filling over it and said to call Monday for an appt for a root canal. When I called, they wanted me to wait over 3 weeks to come in, I still can't chew on that side of my mouth at all because it hurts still. I was told, well that's the soonest he has open, I then asked for a referral as I couldn't wait that long and asked if the referring doctors office would be able to see me soon. Very rude response, saying I have no idea, we dont call them, the doctor then gets on the phone and very rudely said yeah, what is your question. Basically stated I should know the ins and out of Dentistry, and its common sense, and thats the soonest he has available. He had the nerve to say he had to take his wife in for the emergency visit and she was feeling a little under the weather, (I was there for 10 minutes total) and he left the tooth open and didn't even fix it and charged me for the visit and stated I should have had common sense to call sooner. Basically saying I should have been grateful he came in for 10 minutes, when he offers emergency services. I had no problems with my tooth prior to him touching it and his response was, well you never know how a tooth would respond? Now they send me a letter stating I am no longer a patient there and its $35 for a copy of MY records and XRAYS that I already PAID for.
