  Liberty Construction **** (real name *****) took money for jobs he never actually finished. He would start a job giving the impression the job started and then he would have what seemed like valid reasons why the project would go on hold or be delayed. He would literally abandon my job over and over again this went on for 2 years and the job is still not complete. I finally stopped giving him money and thats when the trouble really started. This guy went full-on crazy. For months he harassed me, tried to extort money and force me to sign a new contract. The more I refused the more profane his calls became. He took 3/4 of the full amount to build an addition, I eventually had to file a criminal complaint with the local police department Complaints with the ************************* Home Improvement Contractor complaints, and filed building code violations with the local building inspector. He was hiring unlicensed people to complete plumbing and electrical work. I have had sewage pipes running through my kitchen for a year with him telling me he is working on it. He thinks he is a tough guy stealing money and bullying his customers. He is not tough he is a criminal who defrauds his customers. He told me he was going to f*** my life up for years if I filed complaints. Real stand-up guy. Think twice before you do get into business with Liberty Construction and Landscaping out of ****************, **.

  We had a contract with Liberty to do our upstairs main bathroom over. A total gut job. We had a serious mold problem especially on the ceiling. The contract specifically states removal of ALL sheetrock, including ceiling. (most important to me) Well the owner agreed it needed to be done. As his workers were here to do the work, they took it upon themselves to just put new sheetrock over the old moldy ceiling. One called my husband up to explain this, and we were both not happy about the idea. They "assured" us that it would not be a problem to do it that way. They did not want to go ** in to the attic to move the blown in insulation that would obviously cause a big mess away from the bathroom, and did it the easy way instead. When **** the owner came to check on their work I heard him question his workers about why they didn't follow through with it correctly. He then left. I also asked for a bigger exhaust fan, because I never wanted another mold issue in my life. The previous owners had just painted over their mold problem to sell the house, so it wasn't immediately evident. I spent so many years trying to keep up with the cleaning of it. Well within a year the mold was bleeding through and ALL the seams on the sheetrock are exposed and peeling. The nail heads are popping through. There is mold. A year or year and a half we finally got **** the owner to come out and take a look at one spot and he brushed us off and said he would send a guy out to "patch" it up... Proceeded to tell me that the first nailhead over the door that popped through had to be from me hitting it with something. It wasn't. The nail heads are all in a straight line coming through. No one has ever hit the ceiling with anything. We have spent the last 6 months calling **** every month, as we were told he was "busy" all the time. The last couple months we were promised he would come out and look at how bad it is. He is a NO SHOW. Every time. We paid for this to be done. Gave him a chance to fix.
