******* ****** the owner of the company did some electric work in my kitchen. He installed five electric plugs. Three in the wall. One for the microwave and one for the gas stove. He was supposed to disconnect the dishwasher, wall oven, cooktop and fan hood. He did neither of these because he did not show up to do these. These were done by myself and a different contractor. New appliances were ordered and connected by different contractors. The dishwasher was originally on his estimate to disconnect and reconnect for $200.00, but he did not do either of these. He was paid $1,185.00 for the electric plugs. I did not pay him for the dishwasher disconnect and connect because he did not do this. He knows this. I told him over the phone prior to the completion of his work that the dishwasher was done by someone else which he said was ok and the day of his final payment which he accepted and cashed. The problem is he keeps billing me $200.00 for the dishwasher. I have returned the bill to him reminding him that he has been paid in full and that he did not do the dishwasher. However, he continues to bill me.

I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. ****** Electric continues to bill me $200.00 for wok that he did not do. He has sent me 3 bills to date. My final payment to him indicated that the dishwasher was dedusted and the balance paid was paid in full.

I was contacted by the the complainant to give him an estimate for some electrical work during his kitchen remodel. On 9/8/21 I sent a quote via email using my "Invoice ASAP" software. The quote was approved on 9/11/21 ( see attached DOC). The 6th item listed on this quote clearly says "Dishwasher". Under that heading, It says "disconnect and reconnect dishwasher for demo and re-install." The dishwasher was electrically disconnected and the wiring pulled under the floor while the demolition occurred. Work was preformed in the basement (under the kitchen floor) so that my re-install would be easy and uncomplicated. Upon my return, the homeowner stated he had "someone else" wire the dishwasher. The quote clearly states the work to be performed! Electrical work is to be done in the commonwealth by a licensed professional. The quote makes this work appear as though I did it - but was done by someone OTHER than me. 1.Mr. ********** has the original quote. 2. He has received via email-3 invoices for the $200.00 balance (see attached DOC)3. A Certified letter was sent to the complainant on 12/16/21 (see PDF)4. We will file in small claims court if the balance is NOT PAID

Better Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********. Please add your rejection comments below; if you do not provide any details, your complaint will be closed as Answered.  I am rejecting the contractor's response because the contractor did nothing at all to the dishwasher. He did not disconnect or pull down the wiring under the floor. He did not show up for the disconnections of the appliances prior to the demolition which he was supposed to do. His information is totally false. He did not connect the new dishwasher either because he was not available at the time the new dishwasher was being installed. His claim that he is responsible for the connection of the dishwasher is unfounded because on his final payment for the balance I owed him I deducted the dishwasher and the amount that was itemized on his estimate. There was no contract just an estimate. Also, he can provide a revised invoice with the dishwasher being deleted and my final check to him indicating the dishwasher being removed. Please find the attachment showing the final payment to the contractor with the dishwasher being removed and indicating that his bill has been paid in full.Sincerely,****** **********

**** information is NOT correct. While he may be unaware of the work performed in the basement to facilitate an easy install, the work DID occur. I will pursue all avenues available to me to recover the lost money but please take this response as my final response to this complaint. We had a contract, he approved the work, the work was performed and he "worked around" the agreement.

Please add your rejection comments below; if you do not provide any details, your complaint will be closed as Answered.  [You must provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.  If you do not enter a reason for your rejection, your complaint will be closed as Answered.] Businesses and Customers should be civil, courteous and polite in their responses to complaints. It is important to remain professional and productive when participating in the BBB complaint process. FAQ Regards, ****** Again Mr. ****** is not telling the truth. He did nothing to the dishwasher. Nothing at all! I paid him $1,185.00 for the work he did do. I know what he did in the basement and in the kitchen above. At a later date I even checked the light he installed in the ceiling above the sink. When I pulled down the light out of the ceiling to make a lighting adjustment on the drive box that had three lumen adjustments, I found that he changed out the drive box for an inferior box with no lumen adjustments. When I questioned him, he told me he couldn't get the original box to work, so he changed it. Why would he not tell me at the time he did it? I was in the next room, also I bought the light. It was not supplied by him.  This is a very dishonest man.
