How this place is BBBA+ rated is beyond me. I had my transmission replaced on my Hyundai under warranty and it took 30 days. They werent waiting for the part, it was there on the 2nd day. They just couldnt get to it from the backlog of cars ahead of yours. They must have 1 actual tech and the rest are just on oil changes. Pray that he doesnt go on vacation because you have no chance of getting a loaner since everyone else is experiencing the same problem and they must have just 1 vehicle. Im not sure how Hyundai keeps them a dealer since theyve turned me off the entire brand now.

Kid was very nice to work with but once we went to financing my ******* which was online for ****** they told me that the price online isnt correct because they put it on the website to fast and didnt take into consideration the maintenance work that they put into it. After tax title and everything it was sold to me for ******. Thats ***** difference! And even when confronted about false advertising they said well we do have a disclaimer for 3,00 difference is possible. I dont recommend this finance team. And I dont recommend this company.

On 11/12/24, I went to Empire Hyundai to do a lease buyout for the vehicle I currently own. When I sat down with the finance team, they began to add all these extra warranties that I did not want or need. Before I could finish with the paperwork, they had one of their employees add this warranty called ***********, which does absolutely nothing for the vehicle. They had said that this is used to protect the glass from any starches or cracks when, in fact, all this is Global Etch Protection dramatically reduces the chances that your vehicle will be stolen and provides you a benefit in the event that your vehicle is stolen and not recovered for 30 days. By permanently engraving each window with a registered number, highlighted by a window decal warning, the Global Etch vehicle becomes easily identifiable. Auto thieves rarely steal a vehicle that would require window replacement. When I asked them to cancel the warrant and to give me the money back, all they said was it's too late now. Nothing can be done. I am filing a claim against them because this is a scam for them to just collect money without offering a real service. I will never send any of my family or friends to this dealer.

Empire Hyundai recently did a mass mailing of a flyer with pull tabs to reveal a prize. The pull tabs showed 3 matching footballs, which it clearly indicated I had a $100 winner. I followed their directions, called and verified my validation code and was told I was a winner. I was told to see **** their prize coordinator when I got there.Upon arrival there was no prize coordinator, only salespeople awaiting arrivals. After presenting the flyer and having to give current auto ownership info to a salesman, he said my validation code was for a (cheap) set of ear pods not the $100. I loudly voiced my displeasure and left. I asked my neighbors if they had the same flyer. They were all $100 winners. Not a good way to promote the dealership. This is a place that gives off sketchy vibes. I read other reviews about purchases and service issues and wonder how they stay in business if they cannot create good will. Stay away from this place. If you're looking for a new or used Hyundai, take the ride to **************************************** of *********************** Hyundai in ***************, **. I bought new in ********** and use the *************** dealer for service. Both are great. I live in the ******** and am retired and realize that may not be convenient for everyone. Buying a car is a big investment. You deserve to be treated with respect by a dealer with integrity and a good reputation.

DO NOT HAVE YOUR CAR SERVICED AT EMPIRE HYUNDAI.....Back in November 2023, my 2016 Hyundai's motor blew. Had it towed to Empire Hyundai. Hyundai agreed to replace the motor for free, due to defect. The car was there for a month. Every time I asked for a loaner car they didn't have one available. With the class action lawsuit, it stated a loaner car would be issued if one is available. They finally had one for me to use, 5 days before I got my car back. I haven't had a good service experience with them in the past. I figured I would give them another chance with the new motor. I had my car serviced there a few months ago for an oil change. They do their 5 point Hyundai Inspection and let you know what needs to be replaced. They told me my cabin air filter needed to be replaced for like $75. My son had just changed it a few days prior. They did not even look. I brought it to the Asst. ******** attention *******************, he said he was going to speak to his service technician that worked on my car. Here today, I dropped my car off at Empire Hyundai for an oil change. I changed my cabin air filter LASTNIGHT myself. They did the same thing. Told me I need a cabin air filter replaced for $79.89, I paid $19.99 @ ******** I called and complained. How am I supposed to trust them with the other things they say I need replaced if they are clearly not checking things. And this is why people don't trust their local car dealerships.

I bought a brand new car from them in July 2024. We went in with a pre-approval and they said they couldent find it, then ran all kinds of credit checks (I stopped counting the alerts after 11 or 12). ******** asked me a question about budget and saying would be worse case scenerio. When we go in for paperwork, the guy was a D*** and trying to tell me we AGREED on the high payment which we didn't. We were there past closing and they tried to say they were staying to help us and guilt trip us into buying the car. They couldent change anything but magically could increase my trade in which was still less then I was told on the phone "5k above *************** book". Went from $250 bucks to around $1000. They also lowered the Interest Rate. Told me my approval didn't exist, but I got a letter today in the mail their finance application isn't match my preapproval, so they never sent it when I gave the salesman my preapproval number which they had in their system when I called to make appt. I pick up the car, they didn't know I was coming. Salesman didn't tell them. They lost the insurance documents I sent them. They didn't give me everything when I picked it up and had to go back 3 times and took 3 times to get my receipts sent to me over 4 weeks). I pick up my registration then get a call they found my spare key. I had them mail it, I wasn't going back and couldn't due to my job schedule. I will refinance as soon as I am able and get the rate and payment was supposed to with the preapproval bank. I should had walked but I needed the car and my preappoval had them listed. I will also be telling *********** that they need to not recognize them as a dealer they use because obviously they won't woek with you if your preapproved. I wasn't going to do a review until I got that letter that they didn't send the approval like they claimed to have, but didn't, but did.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP!!!! Bought a car in July 2023 didnt have the title to the car so I left with dealer plates with a note saying I was on an extended test drive. Get a call that they finally registered my car after a few attempts of doing so. Get a call from DJ(******) asking me and I quote act like an adult and come get your registration that I was driving on illegal plates after they are the ones who gave me the plate to begin with. I get there and there was a confrontation not smoothing it over. Poor customer service. Then they give me the wrong plate to my registration. I cant begin to tell u how the financing ******** that was a joke too. Told me one price then came back with another. The only reason I bought the car was bc I was stuck with no car and they knew that. Plus they say they have no cars but you find out later they have multiple lots. Never will I ever buy a car from here. I was told to contact the owner on ******** but that came back with no response as well. Any good reviews seem to be from family members of staff or friends to keep their ratings from going down to no stars.

Bought a car there in May 2023. The sales process of buying a new car there was fine. Everything from once we said yes was terrible. It took a few visits of a few hours each time before we actually got the car. We received the car 2 weeks after we said yes (even though they had the car on the lot). They sold us an electric car with a useless charging cable that charges at 2 mi/hour at my house. We called for customer service multiple times and got not response. The one time we did get through the person knew nothing about electric cars they sell. We still haven't received the title. The *** says there are errors in what was entered by Empire. We got two notices our lease was not approved even though it was. We never got the first lease bill then we got a late notice. We called and emailed the general manager with no response. This was for buying a top of the line new electric car, I can't imagine what service you get for a less expensive vehicle. Do not buy a car here of any time.

They sold me a car that ****** acknowledged during my test drive was shakey and one of the tires needed air. A few days later, every single day Im putting air in the tire. I let ****** know right away, he tells me service is closed contact them. I contact them they have me in for an emergency appointment to fix the tire. Days later. They lift my car (after waiting two hours after my appointment time for a tire) look at the tire and fail to see that I have a cracked rim. They try to charge me 300+ for a new tire. They were gonna put a tire over a cracked rim. When I asked for a discount or anything, I was laughed at right in my face, seen by multiple people. I leave, buy my own tire and go to a tire shop to get one out on. This tire shop shows me the tire cant be put on because theres a crack, and also the back breaks are gone. I just bought the car. Nobody from the dealership would answer me about this issue, so I wrote a bad review and status. The rep ****** was able to argue with me online saying I drove x amount miles and even had his facts wrong on how long Ive had the car. Im driving on a dented donut that was in the car. The car is unsafe within 30 days yet theyre taking it personally not helping me because I negatively reviewed them. So many red flags and they cant even inspect a car. They discriminate if your lgbt+ and when driving to the dmv, ****** showed me their Hyundai ionic goes 100+ mph against my will.

I bought a vehicle from them about a month ago. I had been speaking with somebody VIA ******** because I was looking for a newer vehicle since I was just in an accident and needed a new car. The reason I reached out to empire was because they had an ad on ******** to lock rates in for 0%APR 0 due at signing No payments for 90 days etc etc. when I went there I was driving a rental ************ and they asked if I wanted to get one of those I said NO I DONT I was looking for a newer sonata . At first I test drive a Elantra when I got back I was informed that the vehicle had been sold magically. The ONLY car they had to be able to put me in was a ***** Malibu which I said I didnt want and when I was in contact via ******** they said they had 3 other lots to choose from and I asked about that and they said this ****** was the only thing they can get me approved for so whatever ok fine its a nice car, I go for it. At first they tried charging me I think 23k or 24k the bank rejected it. Long story short they make me put 3k down for TAXES AND FEESWell when the salesman and financier were talking I looked up online the inventory typed the vin number in and found the EXACT vehicle on their website for ******. I got a loan for 22k with 3k for taxes supposedly. Why was it listed on their website for a certain price and I got sold it for a few grand more?It was unclear what I was actually paying for it til I left and seen the actual paperwork for 22k and the lady in front of me had the same issue they tried selling her a car for more than asking price.I left and noticed a cracked windshield, the grill is cracked with plastic peices missing, rims and tires all messed up and nobody has offered anything after many complaints! So I believe what they did was add that extra 3k onto the loan for a down payment and still charged me for ***** for taxes and fees supposedly and I paid over 3k for listed price with matched vin on THEIR website.Never again
