This company installed motorized shades on 5 windows in our master bedroom in April 2022. We were asked to pay 75% of the total invoice before receiving the product. During the installation, the owner acknowledged that the shades were too loud and agreed to replace the motors. He also acknowledged that he installed the incorrect sized shades on 2 of the side windows, which he agreed to replace. We did not hear from the owner until May 2023 (over a year after installation). He finally came out to replace the incorrect shades and the loud motors in September 2023.Upon testing the new motor in September 2023, the owner acknowledged these motors were actually louder than the initial motors. He agreed to repair or replace the motors, however, he has not confirmed any dates for this. Feeling frustrated and ignored, we finally asked for a refund for the product in an email on September 27, 2023, to which he has been entirely unresponsive for almost a month. We would please like to receive our money back for the shades. They are unacceptable and do not properly function. We cannot utilize the shades when anyone is asleep because they are so disruptively noisy. We have offered to return the shades to the owner for repurposing if he would like them. The customer service we have experienced with Intelligent Shades is beyond unsatisfactory. We have been ignored for large periods of time, and have never received a properly functioning product.
