I helped my daughter purchase a vehicle from Atlantis Auto City. By the time she got home with the vehicle the service engine light came on. We brought the vehicle back for service, but again the service light came on within 2 days. When we took the vehicle to get an inspection sticker it failed for several reasons. Atlantis had us bring it back for service again, but again not all the issues were addressed and it failed inspection again. Atlantis answer for the failed inspection was to take it to another garage to get the inspection sticker. We have decided we dont want the vehicle and because it is still within the 30 day grace ****** we want our money back, but they are refusing. They have also not given us any invoices on work that they say has been done to vehicle, which obviously is not enough to get an inspection sticker. We want to get our total money back from the purchase of this vehicle.

My daughter has been trying to work with the business to get the vehicle inspected and has had no luck. They took a used part and put it over the old part that was rusted. My daughter has taken the vehicle for an inspection sticker twice it has failed continued to fail for same reasons. The business refuses to replace or install parts that the vehicle needs in order to pass inspection. The business has the vehicle right now snd my daughter is trying to get her money back from the business for the vehicle.

************** purchased a Jeep Wrangler with oversize tires that is not unusual for Wranglers, it failed inspection mainly for that reason and few other minor things that were taken care of right away. When offered to replace the the oversized tires with original stock wheels and tires they refused claiming that it would change the look of the vehicle. We are more than prepared and willing to take care of any problems associated with this vehicle but unfortunately state regulations will only allow the only remedy that we have already offered.

    FAQ
The Wrangler needs bumper flares to pass inspection. I was told if it did not pass inspection that they are obligated to fix anything that does not pass. Why should my daughter give up the tires that came on the Wrangler when she bought it and they would not negotiate the price at all with her for them to replace with used stock tires, this will take away from what the vehicle is worth and what my daughter paid for it. The tires is not the only issue and Atlantis knows this.

    Regards,
