On June 3, 2022 I purchased a vehicle from Automax Preowned in **********. There were several minor issues that needed to be fixed prior to me taking the car. One of the items that needed to be fixed (passenger side turn signal) was required to pass inspection. I returned to pick up the car on June 9, 2022 and only one of the repairs were done. The turn signal was not repaired. We made an appointment to bring the car back on June 14, 2022 to fix turn signal and the other several items. On June 14, 2022 the car was brought back and I was told no appointment was ever scheduled. ********** is an hour and 15 minutes from my home. My husband spoke to the Service Manager and he stated to bring the car to a local service station and Automax would reimburse me. I brought the car to a local service station June 23, 2022 (parts needed to be ordered) had the items repaired and sent copies of the bills to Automax and never received a reply. Also, called repeatedly with no return phone call. I would like to be reimbursed for the items that were required by law to be fixed that I had to pay $336.89 total.

I purchased a vehicle through them, but I live in *****. I was told I could leave my trade in there instead of driving it back to ***** and then back to Mass to pickup the truck and they would deliver the truck at my town office to be registered. Truck was not delivered and the sales rep and manager both claim that Im incorrect and didnt understand correctly, which is false. My father was with me to give me a ride back and he heard the same thing. Their runner who brought the paperwork, said this has happened many times and the dealership just claims it was never said. Their staff lies to customers and every conversation is out back if you have a questions or they speak in Spanish. Will never do business with these people again and other customers should be informed of how they treat people and dont stand behind what they say. I work in sales, I would have 0 customers with service like this. I doubt the 4 new tires and paint imperfection they promised to fix will have been done.Business response

We register the sold cars at the town hall's in ***** per the law. We do not and never deliver cars in state or out of state for liability and insurance reasons. Regarding the tires it appears he filed this BBB complaint in anticipation of having a delivery issue. Automax installed 4 new tires prior to his taking delivery therefore this was a non-issue.
