I am a recently retired builder from the hilltowns. One day last Summer I was having lunch Mesa Verde (excellent, by the way), when I decided to pop into the Greenfield Solar storefront. John was there alone, but took the time to answer all my questions. Within minutes I knew (and kept that thought to myself) that this was the company that I wanted to do my solar installation. As a builder, I have worked with many subcontractors, plumbers, electricians, etc. over the years. The crew at Greenfield Solar, Stephanie, Claire, John, and others, are fantastically knowledgable, skilled, efficient, and polite! My 10.36k rooftop system was installed in October 2021, and has been eliminating both mine, and my neighbor's electric bills ever since! Torrico Electric, their electrical partners, who did the installation were absolutely great, and had I not retired I would have been hiring them to work regularly with me. There were a few tweaks I asked them to make (because I'm fussy), and they accommodated me completely. When I asked questions about the system and its inner workings, they clearly, thoroughly, and politely explained it. To the point where I now feel confident that I actually understand it! Stephanie was instrumental in setting up my "Schedule Z". That's the form that instructs Eversource to credit my neighbor with some of the excess electricity that I generate. Claire, Stephanie and John at Greenfield Solar are a wonderful team. They are knowledgeable, professional and easy to reach. They answered our all our questions clearly and promptly. They helped us choose the right installation for our needs and pocket book and then, once they gave us a schedule, they stuck with it. They took care of all the paperwork and notifications for inspections and to the electric company. Their installers and electricians are outstanding. All in all it was a great experience.
