I have been working with New Clean Energy since 2007. I have worked with them on multiple solar projects and a battery back-up installation. In all cases they have been on time and professional. They have shown a commitment to resolving the few issues that popped up over the last 18 years. They stand behind their work and make it right. I wish more vendors had this ethical behavior.

There are many excellent solar energy companies out there. For us though, New England Clean Energy is the best of the best. We chose them for three main reasons:1. Personal recommendation. Online reviews help to narrow down the list of candidates, but a personal recommendation goes even farther. An engineer friend of ours recommended them based on his own experience.2. Fewer solar panels. New England Clean Energy offers higher wattage panels, so fewer were needed to cover our energy consumption.3. Hidden electrical conduits. We've seen other solar installations where unsightly conduits and the Enphase box are visible from the street. New England Clean Energy came up with a solution that hid them all, resulting in a much cleaner look.The staff at New England Clean Energy are outstanding. Whether it's sales, project management, installation or admin, they all are knowledgeable, courteous and professional. In September 2024 New England Clean Energy installed a 22-panel solar system on my roof. The sales, design, installation, town inspections for the project went extremely well. During the sales discussions software was used to evaluate the roof size and shape, house orientation, and the effect of nearby trees for several possible panel configurations to determine the optimal power output. During installation the installers offered several good options for running the wiring to minimize visibility on the exterior of the house. The final installation seemed very high quality. Installation required about 2 days including several hours of delay due to heavy rain. The installation passed the town **************, and electrical inspections, and was accepted by ************* without any problems. The system has been up and running flawlessly for several weeks. I recommend New England Clean Energy as an excellent choice for solar projects.New England Clean Energy, Inc

My Solar PV system had been operating for a little over 10 years when my power inverter failed. My system installer got out of the residential solar business, and although they did honor their 10 year warranty contract, it expired before my system failed. Im now ************. So I searched the internet and found others in my predicament. Not many Installers are willing to take on "Solar Orphans". While searching I came across positive reviews for New England Clean Energy (NECE) who services orphaned systems. I gave them a call. They responded promptly to emails and texts. They were extremely helpful and were willing to repair my system, and deal with *********, the power inverter manufacturer. My inverter was still under warranty so I arranged to have the replacement delivered to my house. **** arranged with ********* to be the new service provider and got my ********* account switched over. When the new inverter arrived, NECE set up an appointment and sent a technician to test my system and install the inverter. The technician arrived on time (can you believe it!), was friendly, courteous, and very competent. He ran into some difficulties between the old and new versions of the SolarEdge inverter but quickly solved the issues. Within an hour, the new inverter was mounted on my house in place of the old, it was communicating with all the optimizers and solar panels, and I was back in production. An hour after that I could see my solar panels and production rates via the SolarEdge app. This demonstrated how savvy the technician was and the overall competence of ****. Another tidbit: once I called NECE and I couldnt get through. A few minutes later I receive a text message asking whats up. I hadnt even left a callback message! Clearly, NECE is exceptional, and I told them so. You dont often get that kind of customer experience. Thats why I highly recommend them.New England Clean Energy, Inc

New England Clean Energy was a great partner working with me through what I made a complex process. First issue was sizing the system correctly. I just switched from gas furnaces to heat pumps. Not only did I not have good data for heat pump electric consumption for a full year, but my woodstove has provided most of my heat for the past 15 yrs. So, I couldn't really provide good data on the efficiency of my home. Oh, and I just added an EV, too. **** worked with me through multiple rounds to model my anticipated electric demand. Then they modeled a variety of panels and configurations to get the cost & electric generation dialed in. They explained my options and had very competitive pricing. With that figured out, next came scheduling. First, I needed to replace my roof, which I did not want to do until winter was behind us and it was warm and dry this spring. And I needed to ******** both the roof and the solar in-between lots of travel. **** worked with me and the roofer to make sure scheduling was stress free. The install was extremely professional - probably the most professional contractor I've ever hired. All of the employees were polite and took the time to explain what they were doing and how everything would work. Unfortunately, 1 of the panels had a manufacturing defect which reduced it's output by about 30%. I discovered it on the 2nd day after we turned the system on. *********************** was extremely responsive. They explained the process to get the warranty replacement. They set expectations for timing. They continued to follow-up with me until they received and replaced the panel. Lastly, they facilitated the *** process so that I didn't have to figure that out. Beginning to end, they were outstanding. You're choosing a ***** yr partner with solar. My experience so far is that I chose wisely.New England Clean Energy, Inc

We were just able to turn our panels on much quicker than I expected. Everyone involved in our project was very knowledgeable and helpful. We spoke with 5 solar companies before going with New England clean energy. What really sold us was every other company came with their pdf of this is the solar plan we made for you where our sales person **** opened the program they use to create the plan and played through different scenarios as we asked about putting panels on different parts of the roof. It felt more like we were coming up with a plan together, not just being sold a prepackaged plan. I contacted **** regarding a reroofing project with an existing 10 yr old 22 panel solar installation. The original company was no longer in business, so I was a bit apprehensive about being able to find a reliable company to do the solar removal/reinstall. In addition I had lost the ability to log in to the monitoring website for the revenue meter due to an e-mail change and multiple corporate transfers, so I could no longer monitor the system in real time. My brother-in-law had used **** back at around the same time and had been very happy with the job they did. I got in touch with their service department. They were extremely helpful, and explained how the process would work. I coordinated with the roofing contractor and with a 1/2 day removal, reroof and 1/2 day reinstall I was only down for about a week. In addition and importantly they were able to 'adopt' my 'orphaned' system and help me restore the connection to the monitoring website. Every step was as smooth as could be hoped for and the communication with the service department was always timely and responsive.
