Wildfires across the Los Angeles area are expected to become the costliest such disaster in U.S. history. As victims cope with the aftermath, it is crucial to stay vigilant against opportunistic scammers. I got into a accident with one of their vans and it was uninsured driving on the road

    Business response

    05/03/2024

    Hello,

This complaint came from a gentleman who is not a customer of our company.  This gentleman was involved in a non-serious automobile accident with one of our employees driving a company vehicle.  Myself, as well as multiple employees of our company has spoken to this gentleman and the process is on-going between the insurance companies.  This gentleman, ***************************** was the driver of the car that hit our company vehicle.  However, he was not the registered Owner of the vehicle involved in the accident.  We initially spoke with ****************** to inform him that the claims process is in motion and we would be communicating directly with the Owner of the vehicle, as advised by our insurance team.  The communication has been on-going, and we have spoken to ****************** even as recent as yesterday, 5/2/24.  The problem that ****************** has is that the process is taking longer than he would like and is offended that we have been instructed to correspond directly with the registered vehicle Owner, and not him.  This has all seemed to aggravate ****************** enough for him to submit a negative review of our company with the Better Business Bureau.  Our standing the the Better Business Bureau is very important to us, which is why I wanted to respond to this in a serious and timely manner.  ****************** is not a customer of ours, and has never done business with our company.  Instead, he wrote to the BBB in emotional frustration with an occurrence that has nothing to do with our company and its practices.  Our only ask is if the BBB can fairly evaluate this situation, and please remove this negative entry from our company records.  We believe this complaint to the BBB to be completely unwarranted, as we are doing everything we are suppose to be doing to rectify the situation between the Owner of the vehicle and our company.

I thank you very much for your time and consideration with this matter.

    All the best,

    ******************************* - General Manager
