I went to Lawrence General Hospital ER on April the 26th and 29th. Each time, I was presented with a form where I fill out my information including my insurance and address. Since then I have never received any bill by mail. Today though, I received a text message from HC-Debt Collector requesting me to pay through a link they provided, which could be risky being a person whose personal information was compromised during one of the credit bureaus in the past; therefore, I have to be extremely careful. Besides that, as a citizen I'm *********** the right of receiving a bill, which I would had paid with no problem. I have never received such a bill in the mail. When I called, the address they entered in their system was missing the apartment number. I'm requesting that they send me a bill in the mail which I will examine and go ahead an pay. However, I'm requesting that they cancel the debt collector request as that came to no fault from my end, and I also want to receive a letter from the collector stating that the request has been canceled and that they have not proceeded with any step to compromise by credit; in which case, they are responsible for rectifying that with the credit bureau and send me a formal documentation indicating the undertaken steps.
