    ??????DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! After doing some research, we decided to go with this company because they have great reviews. We were fooled! My fianc got a preapproval through them to buy our dream property. Put an offer in on the land, and we paid our deposit. All in all we are out about $15,000. All of a sudden we couldnt get in touch with anyone from this company! No one was calling us back. No one was returning our realtors emails or phone calls so we reached out to the branch manager. We were told they are so sorry, but the loan officer completely messed up And there was nothing more they could do for us. They have yet to try to rectify it after telling us they would fix their mistakes! They have not and refuse to talk to us. We have all our documentation to show this fraud! We are now taking legal action after having no choice! We were tricked into Thinking we could trust this company! Purely unprofessional from start to finish! Take this as your warning do not use this scam of a company!

    My partner and I contacted ********************************** a Loan Officer with Mortgage Equity Partners, on June 26, 2023. We were seeking a jumbo loan with a 2-week mortgage contingency deadline to purchase a property. ******************** asked for basic financial information and quickly surmised we were well qualified. He stated he would provide a pre-approval letter and could likely get lender approval in 48 hours once we submitted the required documents. ******************** made numerous statements that this was a "slam dunk" and that we could get approval for two of these loans. ************************ hyper-communication at the onset to secure our business turned to days and weeks of excuses and avoidance. Our mortgage contingency date was reached without any loan approval, and we made a very difficult decision to proceed at risk, again, being told by ********************* "I should have it by tomorrow." Those words continued for weeks. We had to reach out daily to request updates. As seven weeks passed by and we had one week left to close, it was clear we were at risk of losing a 6-figure deposit and the home. We had to pivot to a conforming loan, which we were told would take 1-2 days but instead was approved one business day before closing. The fact that ******************** never asked us the right questions upfront and in an unethical manner, we made ongoing promises that never materialized; we started to include Mr. ******************** Founder/CEO, in every email, along with our attorney. He never responded. I left ************** a voice message by phone to discuss the situationthe National Sales Mgr. ********************* called instead. We requested him to f/u with us and remove ********************. He never communicated with us again. This business provided the poorest customer service I have ever experienced, was negligent and unethical in what they promised, and put us at substantial financial risk. No other client should have to experience this; therefore, their business practices and ethics should be audited.
