    I brought my 2012 Toyota Highlander to replace the alternator. When I picked up the car the air the air conditioning was not working. He refused to fix it He said the compressor was blown It would be 1500 to fix it. It was working perfectly when I brought it to the shop. Some how working on the electrical the ac was destroyed.

    Good Afternoon,

    I am in receipt of this letter of complaint dated 7/24/23 and appreciate the opportunity to respond.  ************** brought her 2021 Toyota Highlander into my business on July 13, 2023 to have the alternator replaced.  The following day she brought it back stating the air conditioner was not working.  After inspection by the mechanic, it was found that the compressor was blown.  There is no way this could have happened as a result of fixing the alternator as these two systems are completely separate, and the compressor would not have been touched at all during the repair.  Please let me know if you need anything further from me.
