We are sorry to hear about the customers experience. The price was reflective of the nature of their emergency (there were 3 tenants with no heat because the plumber had shut the furnace down) and the travel time for **************. We did not take advantage of anyone. A stakeholder named ****** reached out to us Tuesday afternoon and we communicated clearly what the price was and what the service would entail. She said they would check with the other parties involved and get back to us. An hour later she called and said they wanted to schedule. We called back Wednesday morning to confirm all the details of the job, location, parking and payment arrangements and scheduled the appointment. We met with the landlord, ******, who ************** ***** spoke to, and ***** agreed to lower the cost of the job $200. ****** was very appreciative of the service and having his heat turned back on. ****** gave us a 5 star review via text. ****'s involvement was unbeknownst to us until he called to complain about the price the following morning. He was very abrasive on the phone and difficult to communicate with. This was a commercial property which costs more than a typical residential property with an emergency heating situation outside of our normal service area.
