In August 2022, I purchased a basketball hoop from the Natick Outdoor Store with the understanding that they'd provide appropriate and reasonable customer service. Shortly thereafter, I began having issues with this store. First it was promised to me that they would take away my old hoop for free. They later reneged on this promise and wanted to charge me. I let that go and proceeded. They installed the hoop but did not, as they had previously stated they would, consult with me about the position of the hoop in my driveway. They then came to paint the basketball lines for $425 using ***************** from The ***************. *** did not finish painting the inside of the lines. He also did not center the lines, and he even made a major mistake which is unsightly and covered in black paint. He did not complete the job and did a shoddy job. I paid him $700 in a check that day for his services. Natick Outdoor Store then charged me an additional $425 for the line painted. I told them I'm disatisfied with the service and that I already paid *** directly. They came to my property unannounced and tried to harrass me by phone. I then disputed the charge and won the dispute via Chase/VISA in February 2023. Then I got a nasty, threateneing multi-page letter from them via a law firm KTM threatening me and asking me for the $425 + a $20 fee. At this point, I just want nothing to do with them. It was a terrible retail experience, I went through the proper channels, and I don't want them asking me for money or contacting me ever again. Please help me and please file a complaint against these miserable and shameful people. I hope that no one else has to go through such a negative experience.
