On 6/18/23 we suffered a flooding from a poorly installed water filter system. Servpro came to do mitigation. They asked to do reconstruction services stating they can return our property, "like it never happened." *********** promise. The work was done poorly on their end, but before we could come to a resolution on this we suffered a 2nd flooding on 12/8/23 from the same water filter. We hired a new water mitigation team. When they broke the walls to assess damage we found that Servpro never replaced ************ wall insulation as was there prior, as is stated in our contract with them and as is building code. We had a licensed contractor who did the work prior come to assess how to fix what Servpro didn't do. Our home owners has said they will pay for the $17K of water damage, but it is on Servpro to financial pay for the insulation to go back in the walls. For the contractor this means undoing the walls, putting the insulation in, and reconstructing the walls. A total of $30K. I reached out to Servpro Corporate for assistance. Their local Servpro has obtained legal counsel so now Servpro Corporate will not mediate. There are more examples, but they have been dishonest from the beginning. I'm able to elaborate further in a different form. I do not trust them doing an fixing. This job warrants a licensed contractor to fix what they didn't monitor/do. They removed all insulation from my home. It is in the reconstruction documents that the would replace the insulation (again as is building code) and they did not. They obtained legal counsel instead of financially providing for resolution as I've requested. They were paid approx 9/14/23. $13,199.81. Acct number w/ **********************: ******* - STR .I'm very much at a loss. I'm very appreciative of involvement of the BBB in this matter.I give permission for our licensed contractor to be involved/contacted:********************************************** *********************
