I want this creditor/lender to stop furnishing inaccurate information because they are in violation of certain laws which is the Section 807 of FDCPA (15 U.S. Code ****e) in the sense that they were using deceptive and misleading representations for collecting the debt. It is their obligation to delete the account due to this violation of the law as well as they need to stop furnishing inaccurate information to the credit reporting agencies. I am willing and I will be forced to take legal steps if this creditor will not ***** my request for the removal of the derogatory items that they have reported.

I ordered wine as a gift through https://www.wsjwine.com. The wine was never delivered, and I requested a refund. When I couldn't get a refund I disputed this charge with my credit card which is Citibank Mastercard. https://www.wsjwine.com/ subsequently turned the matter over to Credit Collection Services. My credit card company ultimately issued me a credit and https://www.wsjwine.com/ issued me a credit. To resolve the matter, I had to release the dispute I raised with Citibank, Mastercard which paid this debt off in full eliminating the fact that my account had been credited twice for this purchase. I provided all the documentation to Credit Collection Services in July of 2021 and they told me within 7 days they would communicate with https://www.wsjwine.com/ to confirm the debt was paid in full and they would then cease and desist collection from me. Credit Collection Services refuses to recognize that the debt was paid in full and continues to try to collect this debt from me.

This company also goes by Credit Collection Services (CCS), CCS Commercial, LLC, Customer Contact Solutions, LLC. But I need it to find its way to Credit Collection Services (CCS). 1st I am disputing the balance on the account. Not sure who they are and where they got this information. I never was contacted by the company to verify if the debt was mine or accurate before reporting to my credit report. I have attempted to contact them to get more information so I can write in but the manager I was talking to refuse to give me full company name and address and website so I can write in to dispute the balance. Seem like her concern was more to keep my in debt and or to cause me financial damage. I saw the information on my credit report but its so limited information, but that's how I was able to find them on the BBB. I am requesting for them to remove it off my credit report and send my to the original creditor for account update. It was paid by insurance so not sure why there is a ****.

      Business response

      12/28/2021

This is the second complaint that **************** has filed regarding this matter (see BBB Case # ********). It is unclear why he is contacting us again regarding this account as we had advised in our previous response from approximately a year ago that the account was closed with our office.

Notwithstanding the above, **************** indicates that he does not know who we are and how we got his information. Please be advised that the account was placed with our office for collection by our creditor-client. We had previously sent him correspondence regarding the account.

He also indicates that he is not sure why there is a **** when this account was paid by his insurance company. If he would like to provide documentation that shows this account was paid by insurance (e.g.explanation of benefits), we would be happy to forward the documentation to our client to determine if an adjustment is due.

We trust this resolves your concerns.

Right so if it was closed a year ago why are you or was reporting it on my credit report. And this happens alot where insurance paid in full but some reason there a balance it's not my fault people dont do their job correctly

      Business response

      01/03/2022

We regret that our previous response was not satisfactory to ****************. We would point out that if **************** is relying on a third party credit reporting service, then the information provided to those third parties is not always the most up-to-date. Although we have no reason to believe that the credit reporting agencies did not act upon our previous request, we are again instructing the credit reporting agencies to delete the account. We recommend giving the credit reporting agencies at least thirty (30) days to update their records.

We trust this resolves your concerns.

Account# *********** Outstanding medical **** was sent to CCS from Labcorp. I never received any correspondence from Labcorp. I was contacted by CCS about the outstanding ****. I was under the impression (perhaps a misunderstanding on my part) that once I paid the balance it would be deleted from my credit. However, they just show it on my credit as paid collection. I never once received an invoice from Labcorp and I think that's unfair that my credit is being punished by their mistake. I contacted Labcorp and they said they cannot do anything... CCS would have to update it. If this is not resolved, my attorney will have to get involved. I had perfect credit prior to this.CCS is unwilling to delete from my credit.

********************* indicates that he was under the impression that the account would be removed from his credit report after he paid the account. Our office never advised him that the account would be removed, and the credit reporting agencies were properly notified that account in question was paid after our creditor-client informed us of a direct payment received from **********************.

During the week of 9/23/21 progressive insurance transferred my call to ********************************** ************** in reference to Account number ********. At that time the ********************** agent on a recorded line informed me the erroneous information would be deleted as I paid progressive insurance directly. Instead the account was reflected as paid. I did not pay the collection agency as I owed them nothing and had no information regarding a collection and want the information deleted. I called again on 10/2/21 and ccs informed me they had no record of my call and lied stating they could not delete erroneous information nor would they search for the recorded call. I spoke to ******************************* at that time. I want the information deleted.
