I was in a car accident on 3/9/24. Aracess had a tow truck pick up my car on 3/19/24. I picked my car up from Araces on 4/15/24. When I picked up the car I noticed that the Jeep emblem looked wrong. He told me that it was just wax that would come off. I brought the car home where by boyfriend pointed out all of the problem areas. Everything that ***** touched was completed in a terrible fashion. The body work didnt line up or function properly and the paint job was horrendous. The paint was runny and dripping, you could see where they burned through the paint in places trying to buff out the drips. They painted the whole car terribly to try to blend colors so areas of the car that should have been untouched were now ruined. When I went back and confronted araces and showed them my concerns he totally blew me off in a very sexist way and told me that he stands behind his work and he would not fix his work nor would he pay for damages when I turned the vehicle in. Because the vehicle was a lease and my lease was up in May, I had no choice but to hand in the car as is. I recently received my bill from **************** and they are charging me $2,858.61 for wear and tear. When I called to ask what the charges were from, they read me the appraisal of damages, all of which were from the work that araces did. I would have been better off to hand in the car after I crashed it than I was handing it in after araces did horrible work. I do not want this to happen to anyone else. *I tried to add several photos and the appraisal of damages from **************** but this form would not accept them. Please contact me so I can provide you with the evidence.

We would like a copy of the appraisal from the leasing company. We are very sorry **************** is going through this with the leasing company. With that being ************* told *************** to bring the car back in and he would take care of any problems that had to do with his work. *************** never brought the car back.  The accident was serious, the entire passenger side of the car was damaged from a collision with a guardrail.  ************* has been standing by his work for over 60 years.

I am rejecting this response because:

************** told me that he stood by his work and felt he had done a great job on my car. As anyone can see, even just from the pictures, the work that was done was terrible, and less than decent work. In speaking with ************* when I brought the car back to show him all of the problem areas, it was very clear that the only reason he was speaking to me the way he was, and the reason he felt he could get away with the quality of work done to my car, was because I was a young woman. Yes, he did offer to take my car back, however, he was only going to try to buff out the dripping paint and even I knew (but did get a professional opinion) that trying to buff out the dripping paint was only going to make it look worse. ************* was also aware from day one that my lease was up in May and I needed to turn the vehicle in. He had also told me he would not help me with a rental car while he repaired his damage to my car and he would not repair the passenger rear door or the hood that were out of alignment, because he stood by his work. I hope this doesnt happen to another poor woman just trying to get their vehicle fixed the right way the first time. I am asking that ************* pay for the damages I am being charged for that he caused due to his lack of knowledge, ability, and professionalism. Thank you.
      Sincerely,

      ***************************
