      I went to dependable cleaners in ****** on **** st. I dropped off a custom made garment for the style by Dependable cleaning services made for precious garments to receive the highest level of care. I picked up my items on 05/23/24 to later find out the item was damaged. I called the location and they told me to come in with receipts and I will be given a refund for the customized item. When I went to the location I was then told I had to email the receipts or print them in order for them to resolve the issue and provide a refund by check in 2 weeks. This is a custom garment, the receipts include the cost of the garment itself, the cost of the design, and the cost of printing the design onto the garment. After emailing all receipts to store manager she told me they were in the process of ordering and reprinting the garment (which is not possible since the design is not licensed to them) after declining and explaining the custom garment requires a license for the design and simply preferring a refund. She told me they would only be giving me $34 based off a random garment they found online (not from the site I purchased) and not the price on my receipt, (which is on the site now $125) PLUS $59 for the print. Disregarding the fee I paid to get the design made for this specific garment. They went out there without my consent during the time in between providing them the receipts and them getting back to me w/ that horrible offer, to contact the printing company I went threw on my behalf to see how they could bypass providing me a refund and try to resolve the issue to their liking. I have now spoken to ****** ****** a supposed owner, who refuses to refund me the fee for the custom design (that a receipt was provided for) only because she believes I own the design and shouldnt be compensated for the fee paid to get it made which was specifically created for this garment. The cherry on top was never even offered the original cleaning fee for the garment.

      I brought a brand new, never been worn ***** ****** jacket to this cleaner weeks ago. The jacket was inside a "VIP" bag (under my wife's account) which means they simply scanned the outside tag and told me "it will be ready in 24 hours." However, when I returned I was told they had no record of the item being scanned. So, it appears the employee failed to scan it properly or simply pretended to do so, because now the jacket can't be found. While I hoped they would offer some sort of compensation (I have already purchased a replacement) I don't realistically expect it to happen at this point. However, I want it on record in case there is a pattern of similar activity at this location.
