    June 8 I called on a vehicle and put a 400$ refundable deposit down sight unseen. I went to see the vehicle and put another $2500 down that day, with the contingency that my mechanic was able to come and quickly approve the condition of the car. The dealership closes at 5, 5:30PM weekdays, and because the owner, and I quote " this is my business and I don't have to stay late for you or anyone else, so if your mechanic can't get here during normal business hours that's your problem." Sadly, my mechanic works 9-6, so I called the dealership on June 15 and explained he wasn't able to get there and I would like to proceed with the purchase regardless. The associate, *****, said great, and requested that I fill out the finance application online, which I did (for only 1/2 the cost of the vehicle) and we agreed that Monday, June 17 he would follow up with me and confirm receipt of my application as well as take another $5000 toward the purchase of the vehicle. I never heard from *****, so I called him. The owner of the company got on the phone, and told me the vehicle was sold already and that I wasted his time. I explained that under the consumer protection act and the fair business act it was illegal for him to sell a car that he has a deposit on ( $2900) He responded he didn't care and that the vehicle was sold and that he wanted to return my deposit. I didn't want my deposit, I wanted to buy the car so I politely hung up the phone to consider my options. I had two of my attorneys call at separate times the following week, and both time the owner told them the vehicle was available and they could come look at it. On June 25 I called the owner and told him that I wanted to finish the deal and asked how he would like to proceed as I was aware from my attorneys that he was lying about the sale of the car and he AGAIN lied and told me it was sold. I told him I knew he was lying and he responded and I quote " I just don't want to sell you the car.I don't like you."
