Please be advised that I represent *********************** in connection with the purchase of the above **. This letter is provided pursuant to MGL Chptr 93 A, Section 9. Per that statute I hereby make demand for damages due to unfair and deceptive trade practices in connection with the purchase and sale of the **.On or about August of 2022, my client along with *************************** purchased the above ** for a total purchase price of $ 30, ******. That price included certain fees pertaining to the purchase. Additionally, there were expenses totaling $1713.58 for tax and registration.Although the ** was sold as is, there is an obligation of good faith and fair dealing with the purchase. Further there is an affirmative obligation to disclose any known issues or defects. At the time of purchase, she was unable to inspect the roof of the unit. No known defects or repairs were disclosed pertaining to the roof.After taking possession, water leaks occurred from the roof. A later inspection revealed a roof in deplorable condition with duct tape constituting a repair. The failure to disclose this issue was a material failure and deceptive trade practice. Additionally, I would presume that if she had taken her ** to your facility duct tape would not have been the standard repair for roof damage.My client has also indicated as notice on your closing paperwork that she purchased a peace of mind package. That would have given her some peace of mind with the roof and resulting damage. That appears to be words on her documents along with a fee of $995. As a result of your deceptive practices, she incurred costs of $ 30,****** for the purchase and fees of $1713.58. On behalf of my client, we request damages for this amount. Please note that Chapter 93 A provides you with the opportunity to make a good faither response to the letter within 30 days. Your failure to do so could subject you to triple damages, attorney fees and costs if legal action is commenced.Business Response

Hello,
My Name it ***, ***************************** is no longer with Campers Inn. I have taken over the service department's managerial duties. I have looked into the history of this unit and all the repair orders that have been associated with this as well. There was no mention of an issue with the condition of the roof. We also have not heard from this customer in approximately 5 months according to our records. They purchased a used 2015 trailer back in August of 2022, there is no warranty associated with a used purchase. If the customer would like to bring the unit to us, we would be more than happy to put an estimate together of the repairs it requires.Regards,
****************;

My 3 month old campers roof had a crack in the sealant, which ultimately allowed water to run down the front cab and into the bottom between the vapor barrier and floor. This soaked all the insulation and began creating mold of course. Things happen. However, after calling in November to set up a date of Feb 14, 2022 to bring the camper in for that repair and 2 recall repairs, campers inn is just today (May 2, 2023) pulling it in to take a look at the issue. Mind you, when dropping it off, they asked me when I need the camper back by. I told them May 1, 2023. So they didnt even begin looking at it until today, May 2, 2023. Also, between Feb 14, and May 2, I called every 2 weeks to ask the status. Each week I was told we should have it in the shop this week, if not next week.So, come May 2, I call and ask status. I am told that the solar panel recall will be fixed shortly. But the bump out recall wont be fixed because it needs parts and they just ordered them right now. I said its unacceptable they didnt order the parts already, its a recall, you know the parts needed and you had the camper for months now. I was told I will need to bring back the camper at the end of the camping season to get the bump out safety recall fixed. What a joke. Also, when I asked when the insulation repairs would be done, they couldnt give me a timeframe. Its now cutting into my camping season which Ive already paid for the seasonal site. Reminder, we are already past May 1st, and they just now ordered the part, and have no idea when they will finish fixing the camper (if they even do). 1 minor fix has been accomplished, which even the manufacturer said I could do myself. About to stand on the sidewalk with a sign to ensure no one else brings their camper to this location. All I ask is that you finish the job immediately and professionally. Thats not a hard concept. 6-7 months you knew what parts you needed for the repairs. Unreal and unacceptableInitial Complaint

Brought our 2017 Travel trailer to dealer to be fixed - design flaw, not warranty on March 2. Campers Inn Raynham, MA has had our trailer for 4 months. We've spoken to general manager *********************** several times who has reportedly ordered part need to fix. Each week we call and/or go there to find out if it's been fixed. We have been paying for a Seasonal Campsite since April 1st at which time we were told it was fast tracked and being repaired. Upon visiting Campers Inn office. That wasn't the case. We've been told by ************* Parts were ordered and being tracked that was exactly 5 weeks ago. We called to follow up and were told by the General Manager he was "mad at his staff " and "appalled" because the part was never ordered and we were "misinformed by several members of his team" and had been "misinformed on several documented occasions for several weeks" ** further said he would personally order the part and give up dates. As of today June 24th our 4 year old trailer in still in there shop and we continue to pay for seasonal site with no camper on it and they are still unsure if the part was ordered or not. Service ******************* didn't know and couldn't confirm if it was actually ordered despite the ** reporting he would expedite ordering and would call me on 6/23. As a consumer, the lack of integrity and actual misinformation has been incredulous. Misleading a consumer for almost 4 months with intentional misinformation is clearly a horrible business practice and it should be noted that we were have reached out to not only their General Manger on site but their corporate office who has not responded to either email or voicemail to assist resolving this problem. 4 months to replace a part is a long time vs. the 2-3 weeks were told and expected. We have switched to communicating in email to ensure communication is clearly documented, however they respond with calls. Call logs and timeline available upon request. Thank you.Business Response

Purchased a camper in September 2021, used it twice- found issues, 1. They gave us the wrong hose connection, is not compatible with our travel trailer 2. Oven does not ignite 3. Multiple areas where tact nails were not put it so areas are falling off 4. Indoor speakers make popping noise when sound system is turned on- called them and was told earliest appointment was February 2022. We brought camper there and have called multiple times and each time have been told a different excuse- not enough techs, behind, other people before us ect. They have provided us with any solution to our problem that they promised they would fix. Also paid $ ***** for peace of mind assurance that at this point I am unsure what we paid for. Have contacted the manufacture of the travel trailer also to see what there solution would be for repairing it.Business Response
