5 starsIve been on the homebuying journey since January 2025. I chose to work with NACA as there are no closing costs, no PMI, and no down payment, required! 1 starReviews are FORCED prior to even going through the process. Proceed with caution and take what you read with a grain of salt. They do NOT move quickly, talk down to you like you are dumb when you have questions, getting a response from your counselor is a joke. They tell you one thing and then switch it up without explanation and make the process more difficult than it needs to be. Somehow they figured my debt is 90k when all i have is my car loan but couldnt explain why. Forced me to gather everything from my husbands income, told me we were good and then once again flipped the script and said nope, we cant use it. after MANY months of attempting to complete the process with NACA I threw in the towel when they went from telling me I could afford $2800 down to $1900 and expected me to find a home for my family with that, it would allow for about 250k on a home which is impossible in **. My AGENT worked my file, got us approved within 2 days and we were out shopping. Within a month we were under contract and are now moved in, with a BETTER rate than NACA could get us as well. 5 starsI had my first counseling session with Ms. ***** *. And I dont even know where to begin on bragging on how sweet and phenomenal she is. She covered everything and more, she went above and beyond from detail to detail on whats needed and what would be the best way to upload things so that I dont encounter the same problem. I heard about NACA through a coworker and so far my experience has been super educational and helpful. I am going through the steps to become a home owner while also learning a lot about my spending habits and how to manage my finances. My counselor has been amazing so far.Thank you NACA

I learned about NACA through a coworker at the time. I have a few family members who I shared the program with and have purchased their first home. I am now in the last stages of the process and I am super excited. I never thought that I would ever be able to purchase a home. I am a single female and this opportunity will forever change my life and that of my family. My counselor is making the process easy as it can be very overwhelming. NACA makes not only the home buying process clearer and easier but also teaches about financial discipline. they have a structured program that guides through each phase of the home buying process. Our counselor name is ***** ********. she understands the process really well and makes sure every step is completed concisely before it gets to the underwriter. Completely horrible experience dealing with NACA. If I could give zero stars, that would be more accurate really. From Nov 2024, I dealt with ******** ********. After she fell off the grid, I got connected with ******* *******. Sweet when she actually returns your call, which is never! Once I actually got her on the phone, song and dance over and over. Then she loops **** ***** in, and more waste of time. End result almost 3 months later?? We are sorry to hear of your experience. NACA representatives have consistently spoke with Ms. ***** from 2/10/2025 up until the date of 2/14/2025. The service manager contacted Ms. ***** as well & submitted the file & now waiting for a servicer proposal. Your servicer must allow the investor who owns the home the time to respond for a servicer proposal. You should continue to check back for updates to this department.
