Worst 8 months of my life. There was no clear communication or Housing Counselor *************************** was horrible. Fake promises, no return calls, text or emails. NACA claimed I was approved for 6 months. It got down to the week before I was scheduled to close to call and wait on hold for 30 minutes only to be told my loan was denied. If you even think about buying a home through NACA this is your warning. Do not waste your time. They are bogus!!!!

NACA has been a positive experience overall. I learned about NACA on ******** Their mission is to make homeownership accessible and affordable for everyone. One of the biggest advantages of NACA is their commitment to offering mortgages with no down payment and no closing costs, significantly reducing the financial burden of buying a home for us. Additionally, NACA provides low interest rates, making monthly mortgage payments more affordable. Throughout the process, we have received comprehensive support from our NACA counselor, who has been patient, knowledgeable, and always available to answer our questions and guide us through each step. NACA also emphasizes financial education and preparedness, with workshops that helped us understand the homebuying process, budget effectively, and maintain our financial health. Overall, our experience with NACA has been very positive, and we feel confident that we are on the path to achieving our dream of homeownership. If you are willing to invest the time and effort, NACA can be an excellent resource for making homeownership affordable and attainable.

I'm still in the middle of the NACA journey, but I already see the benefits. The educational resources and personal counseling have been so helpful in understanding my financial situation better and preparing me for homeownership. I'm optimistic about the outcome.

NACA is a great program. It does take a lot of patience. They've changed the amount of interest one can buy down, so that impacts affordability since it's now limited. I've been in the program for nearly 3 years and thus far, I've been unsuccessful in buying due to several factors. However, my housing counselor is awesome and very helpful!

NACA l/BOA HORRIBLE nightmare. This program cause my children and to be homeless and no one at the company care. I was given 3 closing dates 5/28,6/7,6/14 and I still havent yet because their lender to stupid to know how to open their email and read. *** spent more $2k dollars in the last two weeks for shelter, food and storage fees than I did renting a house I was in paying $1380/mo. Now Im in week 3 no where to go because what I wouldve spent for a month to be sheltered has already been used up. My children and I are driving around in and out of store trying to beat the heat. Were in the car since 6/14@10am since we left the Airbnb. Washing at truck stops. I wouldve never thought I would be living like this. Spending more money in gas to burn the *** and missing working since I have no where to house my children. Ive paid $6k ******* money that Im on the verge of losing because ***** is ready to close but NACA/BOA procrastinating my account. Who can push my file or return my ******* money? ********************* you need to regroup your program and get rid of BOA. Thats the worst bank to ever do business with. Im all out of tears and I have left is anger, frustration, and HATE.

So far, the NACA program has been very informative and prompt with the necessary required steps. I have zero complaints as the process has been rather seamless.

I was in the program for approx 3 years, which is way too long and I feel that Ive been slighted. Someone at NACA dropped the ball during a change in the counselor that was assigned to me. I was approved for a certain amount but lost my job and I am earning less than I was. I informed the counselor that I had at the time, but the approval amount was never changed. I was looking forward to buying a home, the process was underway. Then I was told that I wasn't approved for the original amount and Im out $600 for the inspections. This has been very disappointing. I called and emailed the new counselor several times to request reimbursement for the yearly dues I paid and the multiple credit checks that were done over those years. I even left a message with someone at NACA who was too forward that message to the counselor. I never got a response. Very poor.

I had a great experience with NACA. I initially started the program in October 2016 and I closed on my house in February 2017. The process was so quick and smooth. Everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable.

NACA is helping me to achieve homeownership without a down payment! Their free workshops educated me, and my counselor guided me every step of the way and so far I'm impressed. The process takes time, but their support and competitive rates are amazing. Great option for first-time buyers with good financial habits, even if credit score isn't perfect.

NACA has been an informative tool for new homebuyers. Offering below market mortgage rates and personal guidance are a plus.
