I found out they claimed to pay my premium when it was already paid by ********. So I would receive no benefit. I list 3 moths of additional food help do to their lues. I even called several times and was told sanebthing. So as I sit here hungry I'm reminded thatbits devoted healthcare fault. I was lied to over and over.

We're sorry to hear about your experience. We do offer a Giveback plan, which helps cover a members Part B premium, but this plan isn't always the right fit for everyoneespecially for those with ********* since ******** already covers the Part B premium. It sounds like the agent may not have clearly explained how this plan works, and we sincerely apologize for that.
We take these situations very seriously and have a specialized team that investigates agent interactions to ensure they provide accurate and clear information. If you havent already, we encourage you to contact our ************** Guides to file a grievance against the agent. This allows us to address the issue directly and work with the agent and their company to prevent similar situations in the future.

Devoted is great at selling insurance and terrible at supporting people to access healthcare. In my area in ******, they sold everyone plans that had NO LOCAL DURABLE MEDICAL EQUIPMENT options. This meant that for the first 9-12 months people had this type of coverage, the oxygen and CPAP/BIPAPs that they were on needed to have contracts switched over and Devoted never managed to get some of these contracts. Patients were advised to give back their oxygen machines before they had a functioning alternative. These are people who were on oxygen for years. They ended up receiving $1,800 bill for the oxygen Devoted Health refused to pay for the time it took to get the patient covered oxygen through Devoted who ... again... had not even 1 local oxygen supplier in the area. The patient cannot pay that bill and is unhappy that the equipment provided by the supplier Devoted chose for them was LESS GOOD equipment. Very sad when a company is clearly designed for profit versus for patient care. Perhaps they should produce "widgets" or something with less meaning to people's lives than "healthcare"

Last year Devoted had ************ with a $4,000 Benefitss for covered procedures. I went to see a dentist yesterday and found out that they dropped Delta and benefits for combined eye glasses and dental were now $500 combined. As I had already used $400 for glasses, they would only pay $100 of my necessary dental work. I called Devoted and the agent said if I did not like the coverage I should change providers. I did and my new provider has $4000 coverage just for dental and $300 for vision. I also had urgent care tests for COVID and flu, was told they would not pay for one. They have really gone downhill recently.

My cost for my medication increased 500%, for the last 3months of 2024. I called them in November of 2024 asking why it was there such a great increase. I was told it was what I believed was named flex spending that would end in 2024 and the following year that would go away and my medication would go back down to the original $42. So at the beginning of January 2025 I went to pick up my medication And I found it had increased even more. On January 3rd I called devoted health they told me that I had a $590 deductible once its met the cost for the rest of the year would be $104. On today January 13th I get a call from devoted health And they told me my deductible is $2000 Every time I call them with a cost question, they tell me something different.

**** STAY AWAY *****I am a senior citizen. I'm afraid Devoted Health is trying to pull a fast one on me. 1) Last year, 2024, I had two doctor office visits were I was administered medication, 2) I had two eye surgeries. The first ******** office visit was in around March 29th, the second was about the beginning of July. Update: this is a medication I received in 2023 without a problem.Once I decided to change plans in November, Devoted not to pay portions of my in network approved surgeries, and a portion of medication I received as an injection at the ************ In a conversation with an agent from Devoted, I was told the medication was tier 2 or 3. And that there is an 80/20 split. First I can understand when you receive medication from the pharmacy, there is an additional cost. But I've never heard of such a thing for a **** visit. Following there logic, any meds received during an operation can have the same charge backs. I would encourage anyone thinking about joining Devoted Health to truly reconsider. I do not think this is a fair practice.

AWFUL! Receptionist is rude and unprofessional. Told her my son needed a refill because my dog got into his pills. She told me he had to be seen again before doing so. I explained that was fine but if they could send a few pills over to the pharmacy until the appointment happens to keep him from withdrawing. She said well no that's not how it works. I explained that IS how it works and she said sorry that's your problem. You should have known he was out and scheduled an appt. UMMMM How do I know my dog was going to eat his medication lady!! Arent they supposed to HELP people? I explained the situation again, in which she replied parents should be responsible for scheduling their childs appt before their medication runs out. Wowwwww. PLEASE hire competent individuals in healthcare. This is a childs health we are talking about. Look at the reviews on this place and stay away. I should have!

Devoted has misled us in a problem with covering a cataract surgery. At first they said that the surgeon's place of the surgery was not in network. Then after looking at the Devoted web site we saw that it was in network. After talking them again they stumbled around and said "I see that Devoted is network." Then they laid blame on the Doctor and said the doctor had not given the right information. After talking with the doctor they had definitely covered their bases with all the paperwork Devoted wanted. After several phone calls and talking with supervisors, etc, the last person said we "should go to another insurance company. We don't want to loose customers but maybe another company will be better for you." This is the third time Devoted has not wanted to pay for a claim which was in their network.

While it sounds promising, it's not. Once you sign up, forget everything the agent told you, They lie. They will deny claims and use every trick in the book to create stress in your life. You'll end up paying thousands out of pocket and then forget trying to get reimbursed, they deny them all. They also can create a rift between you and your ** by playing these games. They claim that the Drs should reimburse you if you can believe that. It's insanity, bad business practice and should be illegal. They look to take advantage of people by offering a few hundred dollars here and there to BUY your ******** plan, then you get screwed. I can tell you first hand, IF you have chronic health issues and go to a ** more than most people, AVOID DEVOTED. DO NOT TRUST A THING THEY TELL YOU.

Poorly trained and poorly educated employees give incorrect and/or incomplete information when asked about benefits and costs. They also appear to work from home, and domestic noise (loud TV, babies crying, people talking loudly in the background) often make it difficult to hold a conversation. There are lots of promised benefits, but seemingly even more loopholes to prevent insured people from receiving those benefits. Employees don't understand the problems and limitations imposed by severe illnesses and serious surgery. I was asked - by a supervisor - to go and get a pencil while recovering from open heart surgery for a quadruple bypass, as though getting up and walking to the nurses' station were as simple and easy for me as it would have been for her.I can change my insurance this fall, and will never have to deal with Devoted (to profits and stockholders) ever again. Don't believe the advertising hype - Devoted only cares about their own bottom line, and the promised benefits are largely impossible to claim.
