    This is by far the worst student insurance ever. They don't cover anything and when you do use their in-network for needed imaging, they don't cover it even though they say they do in their policy. When you contact them, they tell you to send in all accident information and police report, which you do, and confirm they have received it. Then I got a letter in the mail from the hospital saying the insurance refused to complete the claim, but they don't have sufficient accident information, but I sent them! I sent everything they asked. They just wanted to extend this for as long as they could so they didn't have to pay. The same thing happened when getting a testicular ultrasound to rule out testicular cancer where they refused to pay for that as well even though it was a necessary procedure.

    Wellfleet is hands down the best insurance agency I have ever encountered. Usually calling an insurance company is something I dread, but every time I call Wellfleet they are more than helpful and go the extra mile to help with any questions or problems. I don't normally write reviews on any business--good or bad--but my experience with this company has been phenomenal and warrants a review. Every patient deserves to have an insurance company like them. Gail in particular was awesome, helped me get emergency authorization of my coverage, and thoroughly communicated with me the entire time.I think some of the reviews are coming from the brokerage that contracts to Wellfleet. The *** brokerage has been embarrassingly pathetic when it comes to customer service and doing their part to turn over the verification of coverage to Wellfleet, but that is not their fault. They went out of their way to contact them on my behalf and help me get my coverage activated immediately. I cannot give this insurance company enough praise, they should be the model for all American healthcare insurance companies.
