In contract with Floormart, I stated to replace the sub floors if needed, because of a water issue that has since been corrected and no longer leaking. Contractor said they didnt need to be replaced. Was charged for subfloor removal, which was never removed. They installed new flooring in November 2023. I still have the same issues in the same areas, due to not replacing subfloors. Kitchen linoleum had bubbles that the installer came to fix, and since then I have bubbles throughout the kitchen. I made Floormart aware of situation and asked the owner to come and iinspect all floors. When the owner came to inspect the floors, I showed him the areas of concern, and still the same problems after they had been Redone he said that it was because they were floating floors and as for the kitchen, it was because of gases underneath my home. The first day that the contractor started working on floors, I changed my shift at work so that I could meet him and go over things because I would still be living in my home while work is being done. Contractor started work on kitchen floor, and when he pulled up the flooring, the plywood underneath was wet and he poured baking soda on it, and told me that it would dry. We could smell mildew. I had to go to work and Im not sure if he removed any of that area. Bathroom has many issues to discuss. One, Being that he never pulled up the original floor and built over it which caused my closet door to not fit and he had to cut it significantly. On March 8, I went to Floormart to see if the owner, to see if he had come to a resolution. The contractor was there at the time, and I spoke with both of them. After my visit, the owner sent me a text message stating that he in advertently charged me for removal of sub floors, which was not done. He sent me a check for that charge and Im not planning on cashing it until everything is resolved , Floormart owner said they would remove an install new flooring, but I would be responsible for sub floors. I feel Floormart should take care of everything due to their error and my inconvenience.

i sent my installer to do the job with instructions to replace the subfloor if needed but only if it was necessary because of the cost. He is the professional and said everything was tight. Being an older mobile home the floor has settled in spots so there are some spots that are more bouncy but its still solid. I have offered to replace the job after the new subfloor is replaced. Not much more I can do, Perhaps she didn't like my response of not going over her house for dinner when I was asked is all i can think. The floor looks great, and I tried saving her money but now am presented as the bad guy.

When the owner of Floormart came to inspect my floor, when I asked him to, he had mentioned talking to the contractors insurance company. I dont know what became of that. Trying to save me money would have been fine, except for the fact that the floor was not done complete. How is it saving me money if I would have to get a new contractor. I had to take out a loan in order to have all these repairs taken care of , because of the water issues. All I need is for them to come and do all the repairs that I asked . He had already charged me to remove the subfloors. I am willing to send back that check to cover the removal of floors.
