    MV Propane put a lock on my underground propane tank without my knowledge or consent. When I asked to buy the tank in April so they will remove the lock, the owner refused to sell the tank, would not give a copy of any contract with them. I complained to the MA attorney general office, and MV Propane owner ******************* gave me a price of $2360. I asked if this reflects the price of a 15yo tank that they did not even install, especially since it may have to be replaced in a few years, he said I have to pay that price or dig up the tank. I asked for documentation of ownership and maintenance from 2014-present (the time period that I was using Rymes Propane, MV Propane took over their accounts on ******'s Vineyard around 2021), I got no reply so I complained to the AGO a second time on 5/6 as well as the BBB. On 5/26, ******************* emailed me a cancelled check from 11/10/14 from Rymes for $1815, which was the price I paid to Amerigas for the 6 year old tank that was then refunded to me from Rymes when I switched to that company. Rymes Propane (in **) told me that they have no documentation regarding my address and cannot help me to remove the lock. Basically MV Propane trespassed on my property, put a lock on my tank to force me to buy propane from them, and is now dragging out a fair resolution because they know that my propane level is low and I may run out soon which will cause more expenses and possibly damage my heating system. He has shown me no maintenance documentation or for testing of the system.

    MV Propane has not removed lock and demands $2360 to purchase 15yo propane tank that they did not install or maintain. MV Propane has not shown any documentation of ownership or maintenance, pressure tests, contract, etc.
