    I bought a starter for my boat engine, after installation the starter start when I turn the ignition key on,called back the store they suggested to bring back the starter to check it out ,they suggested to buy another one different brand so I did and they said that they will not refund me the money till after the manufacture checked out the first one which when I purchased it specifically I asked about the warranty and they said for one year no question asked .the second starter have same issue so they suggested that switch key is bad,I purchased the key and went back and installed it,same problem .so I reinstalled the original starter the issue didnt occurred.I went to rebuild place for generators and starter and they told me that the new starter has a different wiring configuration and they told me what do and I did and the new starter working fine,I called the store excited that I solved the issue and here what happen:She said that theyre is nothing wrong with the starter come to the store and pickup the starter we do not refund money and hang up on me without giving me the chance to talk and telling her that she might sold me the wrong starter to fit this boat wiring,I felt insulted from her by doing this.even when I purchased the second starter she gave me a receipt showing a returned balance,without crediting my credit card.Two days later she send me an email offering me $60.00 in refund ,I asked her to pay me back 80% of the value of the starter not asking her how much time I spent going three times to the store trying to get the starter to work and time to install.Im asking you to help me .

    The owner of this place is despicable, rude and condescending. I bought an outboard in 2018 and I have been bringing it to them every winter for service. Every single time without missing a beat I get a lecture about what people do and dont with their outboards and how everybody is stupid (except for him). I can imagine that for him, outboards are the center of the universe but for Gods sake, its just outboardsI ordered a part ($20 I believe) from another Tohatsu dealer because I was out of state and it was more convenient for me. I just took the outboard to them because I couldnt winterize it this year. I asked them to go over everything but I also told him I already had that part. He lost his mind. He is clearly used to speak up his mind with no filter, but he is not used to get a push back. Well, I told him that I wasnt there to get another lecture. I frankly didnt think about ordering the latch for him because at that time it was more convenient to order it from another place. I am in no obligation to order parts from them. Period. As I told him to spare me the lectures, he took the outboard and put it back on my trunk and said, have a good day. You dont get to speak up your mind with no filter, being rude and condescending, and then lose your s*** when someone tells you that you are being rude and condescending. It goes both ways. The second thing, when you give so much importance to lose the revenue of a $20 part as for being an a****** to your costumers, but then you go as far as to put an outboard back into your costumers car and loose that revenue (which is greater than $20) it is clear that you dont know how to run your dying business (or other more personal reasons that I would prefer not to mention here). The worst thing is that there are these young employees working in this small family business that think that this is the way of providing service.
