We put a deposit on a basement waterproofing project with this business. We were unable to secure financing through Synchrony - the bank/credit company this business works with. We were not notified in a timely fashion from the business or Synchrony that we were denied credit. Rather, when we called 2 weeks later to ask why no one had called to schedule our project, thats when we were notified that we were denied financing because of too many inquires. The business neither called us right away to let us now financing wasnt approved nor issued us a refund of our deposit. We have since asked for a refund of the deposit and a month later they still have not refunded us the deposit amount - $3882. We have called and asked about this multiple times, but we are either promised it will be or told no one is available to speak with us. We are asking that this be refunded immediately to the account on file.Business response

Good morning,
On July 17, 2021, ****************** entered into a contract with our company, and gave a deposit of $3,882.00 which was processed on July 20,2021. ****************** chose to use ******************* for the balance of the project, and gave his credit information to his sales person ***********************. ****** submitted the request to the office to where it was processed, and declined. Synchrony does not disclose information to our company, and therefore ****** directed ****************** to call Synchrony due to the decline. As ****************** states in his complaint, Synchrony advised him of too many inquires as to the reason of his denial. ****** left it open with ****************** to move forward with another payment source, and waited to hear back from him. On August 13, 2021 a refund form was processed by in house controls and forwarded to the controller who then approved it on August 18th. ********************** refund was scheduled to be processed this week. To close out this complaint received today, the refund was issued today and ****************** was sent a receipt via email. We appreciate ********************** interest in our company, and look forward to doing business in the future with him.
