Avoid at all costs! This place is the definition of unprofessionalism. They charged me $25 just to release MY OWN panoramic X-ray recordsprivate medical information that should be accessible to me without unnecessary fees. On top of that, they falsely claimed I owed them a payment for an appointment I never even attended. Why? Because THEY rescheduled me without notifying me.The customer service is abysmal, the staff is rude, and the office is poorly managed. To make matters worse, the dentists and professionals here seem to change every other week. There's zero consistency, zero accountability, and zero respect for ************* yourself the headachego elsewhere. I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy.

I took my son to the gentle dental office in ******* because his gum was hurting. Only reason we went there because they had Saturday appointment. Doctor took him in, took panoramic x-rays without checking if it's OK with us or if one was already taken. Our insurance only covers panoramic once every 3 years. He had one done already. If they had asked I would have said no to the panoramic. We had no idea they did panoramic. I was sent a bill for it. I called to question it and office manager said they didn't need to check with us and that my son should have known about the insurance policy on the panoramic. Then she tells me you have a $0 balance. But I told her I received a bill for it. I emailed her the bill. I still have not received a response if I have a balance or not. The office is totally unprofessional. We should not be charged for the panoramic because we never agreed to it.

Thank you for the opportunity to address our patient. We take all of our concerns seriously. I understand your frustration with the office. I have spoken with the patient's mom and we settled the issue.

My family and I went to Gentle Dental located in *********, ** and we all had lots of dental work. I have two great dental insurances. One covers 60% and one covers 80%.No one could figure out how to do the billing. This was and still is an issue. For the primary insurance I did the billing and the bills were paid up to 60%. The second insurance said the dental office, when I called them, must do the billing. In the mean time I have been paying out of pocket so I do not get sent to a collection agency. I have gone several times to the building and they assure me that they will bill. I waited a couple of months and called the insurance company and they told me that they have never been billed but even if they do get billed, they will not cover it because the charges are over a year and the dental insurance will deny. Now I still owe about $425 and I have paid over $1250 out of pocket. This could have all been paid and I would owe nothing and the money I have already paid out of pocket.

My first (and last) appointment on 1/27/24 was for a dental cleaning at Gentle Dental in ******, **. I left ******* Dental and moved to Gentle Dental to be closer to home and to take advantage of Saturday appointments. My cleaning lasted ten minutes, about 30 minutes less than all of my previous cleanings at reputable offices. In addition, the physical room had holes in the walls and chipped paint. The hygienist told me that Gentle Dental does not carry the good floss that fits between my teeth. Further, the hard sell for future services was outrageous. I was recommended Invisalign braces which I specifically said I did not want; and, told I needed four crowns and cavity repair. *Six months previously, I was told by ******* Dental that there was nothing pressing, and they would continue to monitor. After a lengthy phone call with ***************** I was told the $246 for ********* comprehensive series was denied due to frequency i.e., x-rays were too soon. The hygienist at Gentle Dental told me that I was due for these x-rays. I was told by the Gentle ********************** charging for x-rays that are too soon happens all the time, I am sure the bill will be corrected. I have not received any correspondence in the last three weeks since that phone call. All emails to the office manager, ******, since late March 2024 have not been answered as requested. Gentle Dental should write off my visit and reimburse myself and Delta Dental. Needless to say, I went running back to ******* Dental after this disgraceful experience!

Spoke to the patient about her experience with the practice. We refunded the patient $128.80 as a professional courtesy to facilitate good patient relations. This also helps us to train and re-educate the staff.

      Thank you.

The other low star reviews that tell you they often change your appointments last minute, make you wait 30 min + for appointments, and take up your time trying to get you to pay for overpriced and expensive care, are true.I started going to gentle dental after moving to the area over a year ago, and was told upon making my initial appointment, that they accepted my insurance. After not receiving any dental care for over a year, I received a bill in the mail, stating it was "over 90 days due" for almost 600$. I have only had one cavity filled that I was told was covered by insurance.I have called and left messages, and spoke to receptionists who have promised to call me back about this, to no avail. I was told my insurance didn't cover my single cavity... which I was told WOULD BE COVERED.For some context as well, my boyfriend has the EXACT same dental insurance and plan as I, and his single cavity was covered, and mine wasn't.I feel they also strategically did not send out a bill in a timely manner so I would not have time to dispute it.From MANY other reviews I have noticed this is a consistent trend and they are defrauding people. This is so unacceptable.

I filed a complaint with the better business bureau for faulty, fraud ********** and business practices at the *******, ************* location and their response is that they don't have a ******* location. Here's there address ************************************************* I started ********** in 2019 at this location and my teeth aren't straight, in fact my two front teeth are gapped and unbalanced. This is worse than what my teeth looked like before I contacted anyone at Gentle dental, I individually was referred from the ********, ************* location for ********** services at the *******, ************* location. From 2019-2023 I went through to orthodontist/ ********** "professionals".Both of them left for another job location, most likely because of the fraud practices.I paid over $5,000 out of pocket and they refuse to respond to any of my emails and when I called I was placed on hold for an hour.I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else that needs to have their teeth looked at.I still have all of my teeth and I've suffered with faulty teeth services from them and I recommend to avoid Gentle Dental for your teeth as they will ignore your inquiries.

Toxic Dental, what ever happened to the customer is always right. Beside that I paid over $7000.00 dollars for a new set of dentures. Never fit right so I was going to the 42 North Dental in (*********, **) for months and months maybe a year. Never been charged for the visit because. The problem's I was having was on their end. They called me and cancelled me as a customer. Stay away from this place

I agreed and signed a treatment plan Agreement with Gentle Dental of ******* For five Resin Composite One surface treatments for a total price of $1,338.75. The work was to be done in two visits: Jan 10, 2023 to treat three teeth for $803.75 and Feb 10, 2023 to treat the remaining two teeth for $535.00. I arrived for the first treatment and checked with the Administrative Desk and showed her my signed treatment Plan. She looked up my plan and agreed with the days procedure for Three surface treatments and stated that the price for that days work would be $803.75 and that the Feb 10th visit would result in a fee of $535. The dentist performed the work on the three surfaces and said to me that she could complete the remaining surfaces at this time and I would not have to come back for the final scheduled visit. I said to it was ok to do this and felt I could pay the full $1,338.75 at the end of this visit, which I did.. When I went to pay the bill, the administrator told me it would be over $3,100. I showed her the treatment plan we agreed on and she told me the dentist did ***** surfaces. The Office Manager told me that the dentist had identified these ***** surface problems in a prior exam. I told the Office Manager that was correct but that I only wanted the serious problems dealt with for financial reasons and that was how the treatment plan for the Five surfaces was agreed to and signed off on. I told the Office Manager that I would agree to a payment plan for the extra work but would do so when her manager called me to discuss this serious error. The Office Manager would not give me the name or phone number of her Manager and would not commit to that person even calling me. She also said that regardless of whether her manager called me, if I did not pay the bill it would be sent to a collection agency.

I got a root canal done several months ago by there supposed root canal specialist. He made a perforation on my tooth without telling me and left it there. A few months later it got infected because of that perforation and i had to go on 2 different types of antibiotics and lost 3 days of rest because of the infection. The new dentist i had that also specializes in root canals made a report saying what caused the infection and how it wasnt my fault but it was caused from the perforation. I sent this report to gentle dental and had to harass them over the course of 2 months for them to review the report and decide whether or not to give me the refund, which they did not telling me there wasnt any proof in the report when there clearly was they just scam artists that dont want to own up and pay for there mistakes. I later called to get my charts sent to my email so my new dentist could help me build a case and both times i called and asked for them there manager told me she would send them and never did. I had to have my dad call them and ask them why they haven't sent them and thats when they finally did. Its ridiculous that i spent $1500 on a tooth they messed up and had to pay another to get it fixed and they refuse to own up and give me a refund so i can pay for the redo! Unbelievable! Im a college student with bills and trying to make a living and they out here robbing people left and right! Thats an entire month of pay for me! And the fact i had to keep calling then over and over was a waste of time and energy. Dont go here unless you want to be in n out of the chair with a bad dental job and a high price to pay for it. They wont honor their mistakes or give you a refund. Very disappointed.
