This Company refuses to give adequate care to their patients. Most clinics are understaffed and overworked. Their main focus is the money not the patients. Its sad. The workers whove been there long enough know this and sadly stay there for the overtime/ money as well.Fresenius Medical Care North America

2 starsHello! Im a former employee, from the ******** ************** Unprofessional at its finest, they speak in their Filipino language on the floor in front of patients and other coworker's. They talk about the patients in their Filipino language and the patients know when theyre being talked about. They have employees working in the buffer zone (hepatitis b patients) working with susceptible patients because they are short staffed. They are short staffed because they treat they coworkers like trash. Its a gossip fest, they talk mess all day with the patients about management etc. The boss there is *****************************, anytime a concern is bought to his attention he doesnt follow up, or even hesitate to fix the issue. Family members ***** suppose to be under the same management. They have husband and wife working together, sisters working together etc. Fresenius Medical literally makes their own rules. ****** is over a few clinics and she knows family is working under her, shes letting it happen. Anytime they think the state is coming they want to do things by the book but on the regular basic doing things their way, shortcuts etc. which is health risk factors to the patients. I have came in at 4am plenty mornings and still had blood in certain areas of the machine so the employees are ******* when disinfecting . Their books and guides just got updates a month ago and last date updated was 2017. The states needs to do random pop *** at the ******** **************Review fromIan M

1 star******** Kidney Care Liberty Park, *********** is an absolutely horrible dialysis clinic. The staff including Admin operate on one basic philosophy regarding patients. After treatment the clinic culture is to get the patient taped up (mummified, if you will), up and out of the chair with as much haste as possible sometimes still hemorrhaging at cannulation sites and quickly, while not adhering to proper cleanliness and disinfecting practices, wipe down chair and machine and promptly slam another body into the still warm chair in order to commence another dialysis treatment. This occurs within 15 min of disconnecting the previous patient whom is not even out of the door. The clinic operates from 3:30 am to 9:30 pm, 6 days out of the week. The only thing these people care about is money, that is the bottom line. However it should not be so when patient care is at stake. Inept, incompetent and inexperienced Techs and Registered Nurses work in a virtual employee revolving door practice due to substandard pay rates. Inferior and deficient medical equipment and supplies, non existent Admin and upper management, inadequate staffing of rolling shift positions, all of which mandate and promote a non-chalant company culture and attitude in regards to patient care. Approximately 2 in every ***** Americans require dialysis to continue life. These statistics are a catalyst to the astronomical financial plunder from governmental medical aid programs, health insurance companies and dialysis patients. Precedence is therefore dictated over the welfare of the dialysis patient. My expert analysis of the ******** clinic is earned from being an in-center hemodialysis patient for approximately 18 months and recently switching my care to another dialysis clinic. The only true patient care exhibited at ******** are the care posters which litter the interior clinic walls. After experiencing three dialysis treatments during the past week, the two facilities are literally like night and day.Review fromRon H

1 starThe supply ordering process appears to be in deep trouble. The orders are not filled properly, from being short on supplies without explanation (later find they are "back ordered") to getting 55 boxes of one product instead of 5! Pallets of boxes! and then short on another part of the order!Incorrectly delivered boxes are not picked up. I was promised a pick up 3 months before it nappened. I have old supplies that are out of date and they have to be drained and dumped by me. They promised to sort these and not let them expire, but that never happens, since a 3rd (or 4th) party that has nothing to do with Fresenius. The delivery is just a guy who rents a Penske truck and does deliveries. 1 1/2 years ago a Fresenius truck and driver did the delivery. Now they have gone cheap and hire these 1-man delivery guys to do this.Don't try to call them. I was just on hold for 40 minutes and then found out that even though I called the "order" number, I got someone else and they had to transfer me. Probably another 40-minutes on hold.Don't dial 1 for a call back; that *** never happen. My order has been wrong almost EVERY month! What a messed up, disorganized company!!!Review fromMindy R

1 starTheir customer service do not care about their patients. I've had a order since August (35 boxes to be exact) sitting in my living room, and when I asked about how these will be picked back up by them I was told multiple things. The first one was from my clinic stating all they needed was the delivery driver to call them and they will pick it up, FALSE. The second one was from the delivery driver who stated if he spoke with my clinic on the phone then he will pick it up on the next deliver date, FALSE. The third was from their customer service who basically told me to go eff myself and they wouldn't pick up until next year because I did not "follow" their policy. Well wtf is your policy Fresenius? I was told three different things...the least you could of done, OUT OF CUSTOMER SERVICE, was to pick up these 35 boxes. Now, myself as the dialysis patient, have to lift these heavy boxes in order to throw out the solution. HEAVY BOXES Fresenius because you guys refuse to come back out this month and take them. GREAT JOB!Review fromChelsie T

1 starBullying, workplace affairs, and retaliation are the norm within the Home ************** in ************/***********. Management is corrupt, even upper management and HR. They intimidate and threaten retaliation against anyone who reports poor workplace behaviors, so nothing ever changes. This is a textbook toxic work environment, and the ** team of nurses and support staff had to suffer in it for several years until finally I went to HR. The problem staff members left the ** dept, however upper management had HR on their side and teamed up in retaliating against me, and I was falsely accused of something I didn't do so that they could fire me. After being a loyal employee for 8 years. Do not waste your time and energy with this corrupt company.Review fromLaquisha P

1 starFresenius South ******-************** My 73 year old mother has an extensive medical history in addition to her cognitive state not always being **************************************************************************************************** that she could not miss any of her treatments. I informed them that my mother cognitive state varied and that I would make every effort to get her there. However, it is also her right to refuse treatment whether it's because she's not feeling well, any confused reasoning or wanting to save herself the embarrassment of being incontinent in front of others. It's one thing for a patient to refuse care, and another when a facility/doctor is refusing to treat a patient knowing that it can be life threatening. If you're going to refuse care, you may want to remove treating any confused patients, and any patients over the age of 50.Learn how to have patience and empathy for your patients.Review fromVictoria R

1 starFresnius Kidney Care Center in **** ** almost killed my niece through medical negligent action (actually non-action) They placed a port near her heart and it was to only be there for 1 week or they told my niece that leaving it there longer, it could/would create infections. They did not move the port for 2-1/2 weeks (almost 3). She got an infection (sepsis) in her heart AND her brain, as well as in her arms, hands and legs. She almost died of two aneurysms due to the infections. She was in Sacred Heart from April 10, 2022 to June 8, 2022. She was delerious when brought into ICU and she has since struggled with mind process. She is angry alot. She has endured 9 surgeries. Before they released her to NW Care Center for rehab, the hospital almost put her through open heart surgery due to the infection still centered in her heart. She could still die die to this. She is on very high antibiotic regimen for now and her drs are hoping this antibiotics regimen will melt away. They say by her gaining strength daily, that will help. She has to learn to walk all over again and work at healing her brain. It is a nightmare at NW Care Center too. We are stuck and now financially and emotionally burned out. We need to *** Fresnius and are searching for an attorney. It is never ending pain for my niece. No one should be put through this at Fresnius' negligence. There must be more suffering at the hands of Fresnius and we need to make sure this ends. A friend told us that Fresnius has centers all over the country and are making tons of money. It would be nice to be compensated for all our expenses that we never asked for. No one should be put in this position. If my niece dies, there is no money that will compensate for it. Ever. Fresnius must be stopped. From making money off of peoples' pain and never caring. Unfortunately, my niece still has to do treatment at ******* Fresnius. Traumatizing.
