  Im paid a total of $450 for my son to attend Bradburys driving school. My son completed the course part of the drivers education class. Parents are supposed to attend a 2hr course. I attended the parenting course on 6/29/24 but no instructors showed up. Other parents also showed up. I called and sent several emails with out a respond back. Another parent course was listed on their website for today (7/29/24) so I went to attend. Again, no instructor was here. I called and spoke to the owner who was very rude and she told me that didnt tell her I was showing up today and the parenting course was canceled two days ago. The owner never returned my calls and emails at the end of June. The owner refuses to refund me my money and hung up on me. Im now learning this driving school is notorious for me extremely rude to adolescents and their parents. Now, I need to a new driving school for my son.

  I am responding to this complaint. 
  Bradburys does not charge for the parent class. It is a service we offer for any student enrolled either for driving or classroom or both. If a parent did not send their child to us for any services then I would charge for the class.
  This student did attend the 30 hours of classroom and has been given credit for it. The parent class that was set up for the June session had been cancelled by the instructor and all students were notified in class and asked to inform parents. I guess some did not. The parent class was held the next Saturday, this parent did not attend. I was not made aware that she intended to attend the July sessions parent class. Our instructor got sick and we rescheduled our July parent class. I did notify all parents that I was aware of. I can not notify parents that I am not aware of. She called me up demanding money back, threatening police action and a BBB complaint. I hung up and sent her an email Explaining that there was another parent class scheduled. Her son attended the 30 hours of classroom and she is welcome to come to the parent class.
  I have been in business for approx 7 years and never had a complaint filed. I have had 2 negative reviews both with people who did not want to pay me or owed me money. I have a very good reputation and many students come to me from other schools because they can not get driving hours where they did the classroom. I did not know she intended to find another school for the driving portion until I saw her complaint. I am always saddened when services get complicated or issues arise. I strive to accommodate my students. I wish her luck
