My sister, mother and I recently purchased tickets to see the movie Wicked at the majestic theatre in ********* at the *************. We were so excited and looking forward to this experience over the Holiday weekend. When we got to the theatre we realized we purchased the tickets for the incorrect date which had passed, which we take full responsibility for. (Confirmation number ************) *********** at the theater were being very accommodating and kind and trying to get us tickets to a different show. However, during this process the manager named *****, came out and told us he refused to give us tickets for another date and we would have to repurchase. He was rude, abrupt, and made us feel uncomfortable, he also talked down to us. This is our local movie theatre and we no longer feel comfortable going here. We were not even asking for a refund, we were just asking to get tickets to a new date. This theatre has been a great reputation in the City of *********, and we were appalled by the customer service and wanted to bring this to your attention.Customer response

I purchase an opera ticket on October 23, 2024, to see the ***** on December 4, 2024, at 1:00 pm. I can not attend now due to a medical emergency I had on Sunday, December 1, 2024. This emergency requires a specialist visit which I could not make on Sunday since the specialist office was closed on Sundays, therefore I made the appointment today, Monday, December 2, 2024.When I called to get a refund for my ticket or get a store credit, I was told by *****, the theater general manager to file a complaint with the headquarters, because I was out of luck, the cancellation policy was 72 hours in advance and my death line was Sunday, December 2, at 1:00 pm. But I did not know my specialist appointment was going to be for Wednesday at the same time as the opera.Customer response

I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint, and you do not need to peruse the matter ay further, it is not worth the aggravations!

The owner will be 1 of the corporate people will contact this man on Friday to give him a refund. And just to make it perfectly clear, we have posted signs and made announcements and given out handouts that ****************** tickets are not to be they will not be refunded within 72 h of the show. So we are doing this as a as a courtesy to the to the gentleman, thank youCustomer response
