Hi folks, I purchased a phone from this Verizon Authorized Retailer on 10/19/22, largely because when I went in to inquire about it the sales rep told me I'd get a $650 credit on my trade-in phone. He printed this out for me and I still have the print out. I then pre-ordered and bought the phone. When I got my first bill I saw that I was only receiving a $350 credit for my trade-in. I called customer service many times, eventually hearing from them there was no $650 promotion and the store must have been mistaken. I asked Verizon customer service to call the store, and eventually they found the sales rep who promised me this amount and he admitted he made a mistake and said he asked his manager to credit me the additional $300. Another month went by with no credit. I spoke to the store again and he again said his manager would make the credit, which never happened. He said there was an error and it didn't go through. He seemed to know this but made no attempt to reissue the credit. He again said that he'd talk to his manager about the credit. I call back a week later and he said that they can only issue a $250 credit at a time and that they did that, and to check again a month later in the next billing cycle and I'd see a $50 credit. It's now a month later and there is no $50 credit on my bill. I just called the store again and am waiting for a call back. It's now been FIVE MONTHS since I bought the phone and I still can't get the price I was offered. I'm fed up, quite frankly, and just want a refund and to never have to do business with this store again. If I wasn't on top of my bill, like I'm sure many people aren't, this false advertising (or mistake?) would have gone unnoticed. I can only wonder what they are doing to other customers. My account is under 781-366-3670. At the very list I want the credit I'm owed. Ideally I would like a full refund and to buy a phone from a different store. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.
