      My son had his wisdom tooth extraction performed by ************************ on Dec 29th 2022. Prior to performing the procedure, I was asked to pay $3730 as the dentist was not sure how much they will get reimbursed by insurance.They collected information on two insurances from me - One is MetLife for **************** and Second one is from Cigna which is my primary medical insurance. Cigna is covering the dentist as In-Network Provider and for MetLife they are Out-Of-Network.Dentist filed claims to both the companies Billing both for 4381.Cigna agreed to cover the entire treatment with a deductible of ****** (Remaining ******* to be returned). MetLife processed claim partially, paying Dentist **** only. When I reached out to dentist, they said they are working with ******* and sent one correspondence to us on May 4th and another on May 18th. After waiting today I reached out to MetLife and they informed me that claim made by dentist on Dec 29 was incomplete and hence processed it partially. Same with the claim submitted on May 4th and they are still working on the claim submitted on May 18th. They would not provide me an ETA when they will finish processing the claim nor were they able to tell me if the claim made is correct and accurate.Per my understanding Cigna is covering this dentist as In-Network and has provided maximum coverage. I therefore am requesting that the dentist use Cigna and refund the excess amount paid - which is $*******.Attachment 1: NEOR-Payment.pdf - Receipt for payment of $3730.Attachment 2: Correspondence-May4th Attachment 3: Correspondence-May18th Attachment 4: CIGNA-Coverage If any further clarification is required please reach out to me on my cell# **************

      Beware, *************** is excellent, however the financial services group in this practice is beyond incompetent. I was overcharged for services and was told 2 months ago a refund would be mailed to refund the overages. I called every week for six weeks and was repeatedly told my refund was mailed early November. Today I decided they had more than enough time to mail my refund so I called and requested to speak with someone who could help. After two calls I was told my refund was mailed December 8th - not in November as told several times earlier. The office explained the ***** office failed to mail my refund - my question now is Why didnt someone look into this issue after the 2nd or 3rd time I called? Why continue to tell me to wait another week. Considering the poor lack of response to my situation I requested they send my refund overnight. But once again I was told I should receive my refund by the end of the week. This is clearly a practice that does great dental work but the finance staff is less than adequate. How long should a client wait to receive a refund???
