I have owned a medi spa for 10+ years and have used the Cynosure Elite series during that time. The lasers are best in class and their support is second to none.

I am a physician who has been sold 2 Cynosure lasers. I can tell you that the only thing cynosure cares about is MAKING MONEY AT THE EXPENSE OF PHYSICIANS. The reviews below atr TRUE. I don't want to reiterate. If you have an opportunity to buy from Cynosure, don't walk away, run.

We are a small practice in the ****************. We bought a Tempsure at $180,000. We have been charged an unreasonable interest rate by the financial company they presented to us. We bought the machine in good faith. We trusted the seller and the financial company manager, representative or whatever is his title They made false statements from the very beginning saying that we would pay 60 installments and that we would have 3 months deferral to start paying. Thirty days after the delivery of the machine we were charged with a "prorrated installment" -unexpected- without previous notice. Their explanation was that the "prorrated interest" is stated in the contract and that it not part of the 60 installments??? Is it serious? We have taken the financial agreement to an attorney. They are pulling money from our bank account and abusing our trust.

I purchased a **** **** Touch Laser and a ********* Laser by Cynosure after a very aggressive sales agent told me I would be making thousands from these 2 machines. The ********* I paid $170,000 for and have never made over $3000 dollars from it. Cynosure makes you buy "pacs" from them to operate the *********. These cost over $2000 for a 100 and it takes 4 to operate it once. When a discount company came out with a price for "pacs" of $1795 they tried to get you to upgrade the machine so they could still make over $2000 for 100. There were so many ************** machines and ********* machines in ********* I can't even charge $200 a treatment:{I have it for sale for $20,000 and nobody wants it! Surprised. I thought Cynosure was a crappy company but they reached a new low with my **** **** machine. I only made money on this which I paid $160,000 for and not financed through them thank heavens, by charging $30/treatment. There were 7 machines in ********* all charging $600 and doing maybe 1 a week instead of the promised 4-6 a day. When I offered to sell my machine to another group in town for $30,000 Cynosure told them that it had to be recertified for $40,000 and service contract would cost $5000 a year, but if they bought a new one from Cynosure for $80,000 then they would include several years of service contracts. Cynosure will do ANYTHING to make money and does not care at all what happens to the previous clients once the sale is made!
