I purchased a puppy on 4/7/2022 from Golden Doodle Acres. They microchipped all the puppies in the litter prior to sale. When I contacted PetLink to transfer the ownership and microchip to my name, submitting the required paperwork and $24.99 fee they did so immediately. Within 2 days they removed that transfer and gave the microchip ownership back to the breeder at the breeder's request. I was refunded my $24.99. I own the dog and want the chip in my name with my contact information. PetLink refuses to do so. I want the microchip ownership information to be transferred to me as they have the required information and fee but PetLink refuses to do so, stating Golden Doodle Acres is the Guardian and therefore holds ownership until the dog is neutered. This is not legal and correct. I am the owner.Microchip #***************Business response

Thank you for contacting PetLink. We were informed by the breeder that the microchip can only be registered to you once they receive a copy of the pet's spay or neuter certificate which is why they initially contested the transfer of ownership request that you submitted. It has since been reported to us that they have transferred the microchip to you now without further incident.
