My vehicle was rear ended while looking for a new vehicle someone told me that park Ave auto had some good looking vehicles on the lot. After stopping by and seeing a vehicle that I liked I contacted the sales manager Jen. I told her I wanted a Cadillac CRV that they had. She told me to give her a call the following day so she could run my credit. The following day I called her and she said I was approved for a loan. When I went to pick up the car she I was approved but not for the car that I wanted. I was approved for a GMC Acadia that they had but it was more money. I needed a vehicle so I purchased the car. (Bait and switch) I was told that the car had been inspected by there mechanic but when I went to pick up the car it wasn't even clean Jen told me that I could bring the car back the following day and they would take care of it. I signed some paperwork and was given a I O U form stating that they would fix the breaks put new tires fix a dent on the hood, and fix whatever was wrong with the transmission. She referred me to a mechanic that did work for them. I immediately contacted the mechanic. He told me that he was booked up for the next couple of weeks. The IOU was only good for 30 days. I contacted Jen and let her know. I had purchased a extended warranty for $1900 dollars and if it came down to it I could use that for the repairs. I told her that I shouldn't have to pay any money for things that they are supposed to fix. Over the course of the next few weeks I contacted there mechanic but he could never fit me in. At this point I new I was going to have problems with them. I contacted Jen again and told her what was happening. She told me that I went past the 30 days and I would have to use my own extended warranty I needed to get my car fixed so I could work I explained to her. She told me that they would cover the all the issues with the car. I contacted the warranty company and was told that they only cover certain things and I would be responsibleBusiness Response

As for bait and switch. We don't nor have I ever heard of that being used. I see it as just an old wives tale. He was interested in another vehicle we had but it simply did not qualify under the banks guidelines. *** did purchase an extended warranty (48 month, unlimited miles) and we refer customers to a local repair shop that is familiar with the claim process. *** did bring the car to the facility we recommended but did not follow the guidelines of the warranty company. *** then took it to another facility with no results and I believe another facility also with no results. It appears that *** wants to do things his way and not follow the guidelines of the warranty company which doesn't surprise me. That reason is that whenever I tried to speak with him about his vehicle, he would just shout, and not let me explain to him the process. At one point I was no longer able to speak with him about it for this reason. He even contacted the original shop and they did not want to deal with him because of this reason. He did contact Jen some time later. Not a little later, but 4 months later. At this point she said that he would have to find a shop that can properly submit claims. *** did not Register his car for months and his insurance did cancel. nor did he make his payments. As late as 09-26-2022 I had been in contact with him trying to resolve his issues but was unable to help. *** still has an extended warranty. But as I have previously stated. The warranty guidelines need to be followed. They are not difficult but necessary. I did not receive the bbb's earlier complaint. I always try my best to resolve this and any matter a customer may have. But it takes 2 to complete this process. I have also responded to the 93a complaint and countless conversations with ***. I make no offer of repurchase or refund of any kind. I wish *** the best of luck in the future.
Sincerely

I sent money for a vehicle that was described to me as a car that had no issues at all besides the paint. I sent a money order via *****. However I did some research about the dealer and found reviews of them scamming people and providing a vehicle that is different from what they promise. I texted them I wanted a refund before they received the funds and asked for them to return the money orders. She mentioned on text and over the phone I can have an inspection done before purchasing the vehicle and if it came back good then I could purchase and if not it can be returned. The inspection came back with lots of problems to where the vehicle is unsafe to drive. I asked for the money back and she delayed me with excuses of people passing away and so on. I talked to the owner the next day as she advised and he is saying I already "purchased" the vehicle. I never said I wanted the car nor signed the paperwork showing I wanted the car, no receipt of this "purchase", title, bill of sale etc. The owner won't answer my calls and hangs up on me when I ask for my money back. I filed a police report. The owner also sent me a form to sign a purchase agreement and send it back to his office the next day after the cops went over there. The document they want me to sign isn't even dated correctly.Customer Answer

I will directly respond to ***** complaint and then with my own response. **** sent money after he and Jen had over 30 texes back and fourth. she never said that there were no issues other than the paint. nshe actually said that all cars have issues especially a 23 year old car. butr that it was in very good shape and had very low miles on it and was a 1 owner. as for him saying that we have reviews that we scam people etc... i couldnt find what he was takling about. actually i have only sold a few cars on line in my 38 years in business. luke sent the money orders because i could not get his cash app to function. this was his idea to send the money orders. once we recieved them, he was informed that we do not send out the title and paperwork until they clear the bank. as we have had freuduland payments in the past. this wait was over a week. then we send the paperwork and we do not release the vehicle until then. after he made the payment, he asked if he could have the car checked out. we agreed. so he did that and that report came back with a few minor issues. non of which would not allow it to pass inspection. certainly nothing tragic. but we never said it was perfect. im not sure what he means that we delayed him. i did call probably over a week later, and i was unable to speak as he would interrupt me each and every time i said something and would keep asking the same questions over and over, recieving the same answers. i even asked him several time to let me speak and he continued with the same approach of talking over me. so after about 45 minutes of this i said that i didnt have anything to add to what i have said. and said i was hanging up and i did so. it is a complete LIE that i wouldnt answer any of his calls. we actually said to him that i would only speak to him through email, as it clearly states in responding to him. he was given my personal email and never attempted to contact me. but he did contact the police department is his town, so i reached out to them to respond and they said they did their investigation and found no wrong doing and closed the case. he called the detective bureau in my city and told them that we are not an actual business. thats just silly. and he called the police who are actually the liscense board and they also told him the same thing.
Now my side.
Jen who works here. sent him a you tube video of the car . inside outside, underneath and the vehicle running. just for him. countless pictures, over 50 texes back and forth with tons and tons of questions regarding the sale. his complaints are baseless and he is not telling the truth. he purchased the car and we sent him the paperwork and title and informed him that storage charges will acrue. and that is where we stand today. i hope all of my response will be in full. i will finsh it in another page

**** also contacted his attorney who sent me a priority mail envelope. his complaint was only that **** was displeased with((( his purchase))and did not have an actual statute for his case. i spoke with him and was very respectfull and he suggested we have a conferance call and try to resolve this. im not sure of the exact date without looking at my email to him but it has been about a week and i havent heard back from him. i even offered to try to address a few issues for him. but like i said. he has not reached out to me about that call. I am very easy to reach and return all of my calls.
