  I was very pleased with the exterior paint job performed by L&J Painting. Michael, DJ and Crystal were very conscientious, courteous and professional. They cleaned up, and most importantly, put things back. I am also happy with our color choices.

  L&J Painting recently painted much of the interior of our second home on the Sassafras River. Larry W**** was most helpful in advising us about possible color choices, and the three painters we met were very experienced, professional, and did an excellent job. We would absolutely recommend L&J Painting!

  Chris B we were extremely satisfied with L & J, from Woodies help with the color choices, to Michael and his crew, DJ, Jason, and Destiny doing the actual prep and painting. they were all a pleasure to work with, and the job looks great!

  Excellent work on refinishing the Cedar siding on my home, from initial consultation with Larry to the finished product. Excellent communication and attention to detail. Mike and D.J. were very professional, completed the work in a reasonable amount of time, especially with the weather not cooperating. They showed up on time and always cleaned up at the end of the day. We could not be happier with the final results Thank you everyone!

  Very well done. All aspects of a four-week job were done as agreed. All the workers were pleasant to have around, left the work areas in good order every night, protected whatever could not be moved out of the way. Would have them again anytime.

  I originally asked L&J Painting to fix some drywall and seam issues in the ceilings of six rooms. They started and finished the job on time and within budget. After a few days, I asked them to add a 2-story wall in the foyer and 2 additional walls in the formal living room. Their work is completed with outstanding quality and professionalism. They are very considerate of your lifestyle and need for quiet while working from home. They did a terrific job. I highly recommend them.

  We saw the job they did on our neighbor's house and decided to have them re-stain two sides of our 90 year old shingles. While 50% down for a contract seems high, we still went ahead with it. The start date was close to what was on the contract especially when one accounts for weather on an outside job. The job was done according to schedule once started. Mike and the crew did a really good job using brush and roll for 2 coats. They took their time to get in every space between shingles and smooth out the stain. When Mike thought 2 coats wasn't enough in some places he made sure a third went on to even out the appearance of our heavily weathered shingles. A peculiar aspect of our house is that we have a deck and overhanging 1st floor roof so getting to the top of the side with the attic requires a very tall ladder to go from below the deck to above the 2nd floor. While working on tall ladders the crew always had at least one person below spotting and took time to safely get the job done. We started in the Fall with doing half the house to see how the job looked and were pleased enough to have them come back the next Spring to contract for doing the second half of the house.
