      Feb 10 I met a mechanic by the name of **** which he told me he have a body shop and he can work on my car for a reasonable price which was 550 so I made a down payment of 250 on march 7 I dropped my car off to his shop and gave him the remainder of the payment which he informed me my car would be ready march 10 2025 march 10 come he send me pic of the bumper he just finish panting at 1041 the text back at 3 stating the bumpers was the wrong one which mean he have to keep my car long until the bumper came thru the 13 at 822 pm he told me he had the new bumpers and was painting them the 15 he text me tell me he would be done my car sat the 15 I was calling several time about my car because I miss multiple days from work so sat he told me he was finish up on my car at 722 pm I asked him can I be on my way to pick my car up at 730 no reply Sunday I text him at 9 asking can I get my car he text me 10 stating yes so as Im finish he was gonna tint my window and wash my car and I stated I need my car I didnt ask u to do any of that when I got to his shop he said was his my car was still in pieces and I came across and older man which he said he was his father and the location is not a body shop its a car wash and the ****** **** do not own the business and he was a body mechanic so he put a unpainted bumpers on the front and rear of my car all my light was working on my car before I drop it off other damage was made on my car I asked for my money back he was very disrespectful threatening me which I had to call the police to get my vehicle because he wasnt trying to give me my keys I been pulled over because my tag wasnt on the front of my car plus my break light wasnt in or working he must lost my key because that that wasnt the key I gave him I miss multiple days from work because of this situation and I would like to get my money back plus money that I lost out on the work he told me he could do wasnt done and Im very upset about the situation

      Good afternoon,

      Speedy Auto Detailing is a car wash and has nothing to do with auto repair, auto body work, or anything to do with this complaint. The consumer even admitted in the body of the complaint that she was advised by the owner **** ******* that Speedy Auto Detailing has nothing to do with this situation. The person who did/did not fix her vehicle works on Chowan Ave., and is no way affiliated with Speedy Auto Detailing. The consumer did not contract work or remit payment to Speedy Auto Detailing. She needs to file her complaint with the correct party. Thank you.

      Im not satisfied with the response from speedy auto I have proof of our text messages stating what type of shop he have plus him giving me the address to his shop Im asking for my money back and he refuse to give it back regardless of if its not his shop or not I only went by his word thinking he had a shop i found out march 16 from his dad which his name is **** as well that he own the shop but allowing him to do work on his property at the end of the day I would like a refund back

      Good afternoon,

      This consumer does not have any text messages with the owner of Speedy Auto Detailing and the services if any she received were not in the car wash building because we do not perform any auto repairs at ***************************************** This consumer received services on ***********, which again is not affiliated with Speedy Auto Detailing. There has never been an offer, acceptance, or consideration substantiating a contract for car repairs with Speedy Auto Detailing. This consumer needs to contact the correct party as she has been advised multiple times. We have nothing to do with this complaint.

      Whomever is responding is a liar I have recording of the conversation with the farther which he also was trying to contact his son the same day I was on the property which I have witness to back me up like I mention I have a recording of the farther stating multiple things about his son I have proof of my car sittin on the side of the building I have proof where my car was I made sure I took pictures at this point the farther allows the son to do mechanical work on his property which he is unlicensed to do which I didnt know until that day
