I was booked into this recovery center. Under duress, I was made to cancel my health insurance to get on medicaid so that I could get on food stamps which would be used to purchase food for the house. I was given no detox and no comfort meds to aid my withdrawals. For over 36 hours I never saw a psychiatrist. After experiencing very dangerous withdrawal symptoms, I went to the office and the manager was rifling through a big of pill bottles of other people's prescriptions to find me anti-anxiety meds.
