I was enrolled into the 8 weeks course, which covered Saturday and Sunday(weekend), classes. On the onset the instructor stated that there was some scheduling issues but ensured that there would be a certified instructor with us through out our training. During week 4 and 5 the school failed to provide adequate instructors or vehicles to cover the students. About 20 students 4 vehicles, which resulted in a lot of standing around. Though my class of Arundel Community College (8), made valuable use of the time by co-studying and peer coaching, we were at a handicap, as the trucks that we had been training on and would be MVA tested on were not accessible. It is my professional opinion that the instructors really go above and beyond in providing assistance and instructions. Their hands are tied by the management staff, which are in the offices and don't give ****** about the students not the training staff. As, they were aware the issues. After a week of none response from head of CDL instructors, campus president and the director of training Shaun K., decided on the day prior to our class to cancel/ postpone only Arundel students for 2 weeks. My conversations with Shaun, he was none apologetic, condescending and without concerns of any inconveniences pressed upon us due to this decision. Unprofessional is an understatement. Bait and switch, beach of contact, lack of customer service and concerns and failure to manage. As we were given a start/ completion dates and an MVA Test time and date. I strongly suggest that the Feds, Accreditations Council and AACC properly vet this institution before another penny is given to them and anyone seeking professional developed..... not choosing All State, may be a better investment!!!

Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2022/04/04) */ **** C. Dispute Resolution & Trade Practice specialist BBB of Greater Maryland, Inc. 502 S. Sharp Street, Baltimore, MD 21201 Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXX Fax: XXX-XXX-XXXX RE: BBB CASE#: ******** Hello Lisa C., Thank you for bringing this complaint to our attention, as we take these matters very seriously. In regards to this BBB complaint filed by ******* ****** on 03/23/2022, the CDL Director of Training - Shaun Keegan was made aware of an upcoming CDL instructor shortage due to staffing constraints; illnesses, time off/vacations...etc. During the week of 03/07/2022, Mr. K. notified all of the AACC students, to make them aware their learning would be postponed for two weekends, in order to provide the best outcomes in career-training. This postponement began the weekend of 3/12/2022. Classes resumed on Saturday 3/26/2022. Since I was not available for a conversation, ******* ****** spoke with Shaun K. along with James B. - CDL Program Manager - Anne Arundel Community College on Friday 03/11/2022 at approximately 1pm. At that time, ******* ****** expressed his dissatisfaction with this decision. Mr. K. offered to cover the cost of a new Class A Commercial Learner's Permit, in the event that the current Permit expired before ******* ****** could complete his learning. We apologize for any inconvenience to our students. Again, we do take this complaint seriously, as we are continuing to work through some staffing challenges. We are still in agreement to cover the cost of a new Class A Commercial Learner's Permit for Mr. ******* ******. Sincerely, Andrea F., MBA, MAED Campus President ALL-STATE CAREER 2200 Broening Highway Baltimore, MD 21224 Office: (XXX) XXX-XXXX ext. 1451 Direct: (XXX) XXX-XXXX Fax: (XXX) XXX-XXXX Email: *************@allstatecareer.edu
