I never asked or approved for this place to put me on a mailing list. I've asked them before to stop sending me junk mail but they don't know how to remove this address from their mass marketing system. Please leave me alone!! Also please email me because my family also doesn't want to receive any more mail from you either. They will file their own bbb complaints if you do not email me and provide a contact person to opt out of your nonsense.

    Business response

    01/09/2023

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/12/14) */ Upon receiving the BBB concern regarding unwanted mailings from our institution, the concern was immediately forwarded to our Marketing and Public Relations team. It was determined that the zip code of the individual bringing this complaint to our attention was recently included in a mass mailing for prospective patients who reside in multiple zip codes. We contacted our vendor and had this individual's information removed from future mailing lists. Our Patient Relations office attempted to reach the individual via telephone twice without success. A letter was sent to the individual (email address was unknown) apologizing for her receiving unwanted mail and let her know that her name had been removed from future mailing lists. As requested in the complaint, a direct contact phone number and email address was provided for the individual to respond back with other names/addresses within her family that would like to be removed from the list as well. Mercy will continue to do our best to make these special accommodations. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/12/15) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Hello. I never received any voicemails but I saw the missed calls. Why wasn't a vm left? I called the number but I didn't have a name of anyone to ask for. My email was included in the complaint. It is ********@gmail.Com. Thanks Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2022/12/22) */ ***Document Attached*** A voicemail was left with both the contact name and direct phone number to Patient Relations. We contacted the patient by letter via US Mail (which also included a direct phone number and email address to reach Mercy). We attempted to send a copy of the letter by email to the email provided in the rebuttal, but it was "not deliverable". Mercy contacted the BBB on 12/21, and was given the correct email address. The scanned letter was sent to the individual's email on 12/22. Ms. Davis may also provide the other individuals she referenced in her complaint with our direct contact information so they may request removal from the mailing lists. Thank you.

Some consumers may elect to not publish the details of their complaints, some complaints may not meet BBB's standards for publication, or BBB may display a portion of complaints when a high volume is received for a particular business.
