I contacted this hospital to get my medical records from a fractured skull as an infant and their reply was they do not keep records for more than 10 years. I needed my records for my mental health record. This is a catholic hospital ?? I’m not even catholic. I’m not sure what can make things rightInitial Complaint

I've been here with a friend (as I'm writing this) for going on 5 hours. 3 of them were spent in the waiting room, 2 of them have been in the back room. We've been seen once since we were taken back and all they did was scan her bracelet. We hit the call button 15 minutes ago to try and get some answers as to what's going on and they TURNED IT OFF AND IGNORED IT. WE STILL HAVE NOT BEEN SEEN. What is actually wrong with this place, ignoring patients.Initial Complaint

On February 15, 2023, I went into the emergency room of St. Agnes Hospital for severe chest pain on my right side, and it radiating up my neck. The blood tests run, the EKG, and the X-ray done a Patient First (an hour earlier than my arrival at the ER) did not show anything that was "major". I was discharged and told I can take Ibuprofen for the pain. However, here it is 2 days later, and the pain is still there when I breathe, and not only radiating up the right side of my neck, but now my right arm is tingling on and off as well. The staff was truly excellent, and treated each patient equally (despite the ER being continually packed). I just would like to know what is causing my chest pain and what can be done to relieve it, and the tingling in my right arm (even if it is not life threatening, it is a distraction while trying to work, and when trying to just relax). I have made an appointment with the cardiology office at St. Agnes medical center for 2/21/2022, as I will not being going back to the ER and paying another $250 copay when the evaluation wasn't fully done the first time (as for half of the job of telling me what my symptoms are not, seems like half of the copay should be refunded since the paid has not improved at all). Again, this is in no way a negative review of the staff, as they were ALL excellent, I just want to know what is causing my pain, and what can be done to relieve it (including precautions for the future).Business Response

This issue has been resolved. My complaint was simply to bring to the hospital's attention that when a patient is discharged from the ER, they should at least have a diagnosis for what they came into the hospital for.Working in healthcare as an auditor on doctors and facilities, I want to ensure patients are being provided with diagnosis for what they go to the doctor or ER complaining of and have a course of treatment included on their discharge paperwork.Regards,LaChe'Initial Complaint

St. Agnes and their affiliated doctors are members of ********* ******* *****. Since joining, the quality of care has been significantly reduced. No longer can I simply call my doctor. I must call ********* and wait 6 to 10 minutes to reach a human who does not know me or my history. This stranger then places a message on my behalf with my doctor. I must then wait for his return call, even for a simple question. The American Health Care system is no longer about Care. It is about money. This is not health care. This is a terrible corporate business model that St. Agnes Admins should be ashamed of. BTW- I am now leaving the care of my doctor after 20 years due to ********* and St. Agnes' decision to partner with them. Aweful.Initial Complaint
