    This is in reference to account # ****** Orthodontic treatment for ******* *******, mailing address ** **** ***** *****, *****. I, ******* *****, his mother signed a contract on 5/15/2019 for orthodontic treatment, the Insurance carrier fee only allowed a charge of $6010 for his complete treatment. So we ended up running two insurance companies for this service (his fathers and mine both allow $1500 each to go towards treatment). I signed a contract agreeing to an initial payment of $3000 deposit and had to agree to a monthly payment of $40 (auto pay on my ******** card) until insurance payments kicked in. To date we have paid the following: $3000 deposit, $760.00 in payments on ******** card, $1500 from my insurance co., $1500 from dads' insurance co (this is the payment that I had to remind office worker of) =$6760. This amount is $750 over what the insurance company said is allowed ($6010). I stopped in the office a few times and spoke with the billing/insurance lady and tried to get updates on the amounts. The last time I stopped in was end of 2021, I had to remind her to process the 2nd insurance amount, it was at the bottom of a pile on her desk. She said she is glad I said something because the timeframe for submitting the claim for the 2nd insurance $1500 was almost up. She told me she would submit it so it would be on time. My question is, this is her job, why I am reminding her to submit paperwork to insurance companies and why I am having to hunt down my overpayment??? I have now waited 8 months for insurance and the billing/insurance lady at the office to get everything in order and have everything submitted and everything paid. My son has been out of braces for a year now and we are completely done with this business. I figured when they did their accounts receivable maybe at years end they would notice the overpayment, that hasn't been the case. I am reaching out before I leave a negative review online, I have waited long enough now.
