      I financed a 2004 Honda Civic from Aero Motors for $5,995 not including taxes and fees. Within one day of purchasing my vehicle the engine light came on. I brought the car to Aero motors and it was fixed. Shortly after this my car began to make an unusual sound coming from under the hood. I brought the car back to Aero motors and was told that the belt could be tightened to fix the issue. The sound reappeared within a week. After this the car broke down due to a failed fuel pump. I paid a private mechanic to fix the fuel pump and later visited another mechanic about the unusual sound under the hood. I was told my battery was dying and in need of replacement as well as my car having a cracked head gasket, but there was no diagnosis for the unusual sound. After purchasing a new battery I was told the new head gasket would cost around $1,400 to $2,000 which is roughly the same price as the worth of the car itself since the Kelly blue book value for a 2004 Honda Civic ex is $3,000. I currently owe $3,950.50 for the vehicle and my after market radio's Bluetooth usb no longer works, I am unable to open my trunk due to the lever inside the vehicle not working. My back right passenger side window does not open or close although it was "repaired" and the car continues to make unusual sounds under the hood as well as new sounds inside the vehicle. My airbag light has come on and the car has begun to have trouble driving similar to an upcoming transmission issue. I have damaged the front and rear bumper due to my own negligence, but I find it hard to believe that my damage to the bumpers have anything to do with the serious mechanical issues impacting the car. I believe Aero Motors knowingly sold me a lemon for more than the double it's value since I'll have paid over $7,000 for the car when my loan is done although it's value is barely $3,000. This is not including the $300 I had to pay to replace the fuel pump, $200 I paid for a battery, and $1,400-$2,000 for head gasket.

      Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2022/02/16) */ Vehicle was purchased 9/20/21 warranty period is 30 or 1000miles. Last time vehicle was bought to us was 10/27/21. She did call us when the fuel pump stopped working and we told her if she towed it to us we would help. She did not choose to do that. None of the issues that she is discussing have been brought to our attention or has the vehicle been brought into our shop. It's a little difficult to address any of her concerns without her bringing it to us. I would be happy to take a look at the vehicle to see what's really going on. But as far as Her desired resolution damage repair usually falls within damage collision insurance and might be better resolved with them. Consumer Response /* (3000, 10, 2022/02/16) */ I originally stated that the transmission had to be replaced after purchasing the vehicle, but my documentation shows it was the alternator instead. I have also been able to repair the trunk latch and window myself. Business Response /* (4000, 12, 2022/02/17) */ Attached are copies of all the work orders completed on this vehicle. Also attached is a copy of the carfax report. There is no information on anything ever bein done to the transmission here but there is an entry on the carfax 1/19/2015 at 88450 miles stating transmission fluid was change at *********, its the on mention of transmission I can find. We have not completed any service on this vehicle's transmission and there are no records in our system of this concern being brought up at any time. Consumer Response /* (3000, 18, 2022/02/18) */ Although I had already expressed the transmission was not replaced , but instead the alternator, I appreciate an unnecessary response from Aero Motors restating that. I have no longer contacted Aero Motors after my 2004 Honda Civic's fuel pump failed due to my my distrust in this business. The car has been driven for 3,000 miles and already has engine issues as well as a failed ac compressor and many other issues. The value of the work necessary to keep the vehicle running are greatly more that the vehicles worth. I am currently using a loaner vehicle to work while paying off the loan and insurance necessary to own my 2004 Honda Civic which is nearly immobile due to the head gasket leak. I completely understand that vehicles lifetime cannot be predicted, but I find it very hard to believe that no one at Aero Motors was aware of this vehicles condition. I am truly disappointed from my experience purchasing a vehicle with Aero Motors.
